Simple homemade continuity tester

a li-po/li-on battery is a continuity tester. You connect the wires coming out of it and if it explodes, your circuit has a good connection.

This may be ok for most circuits, but I'd be wary of using this with any circuit that contains sensitive electronics. The current &/or voltage could be significantly higher than when testing with a meter.
