- Suppose the great minds at Nintendo decided Italian wasn't the appropriate ethnicity for their flagship character. Suppose instead of Mario they named him Pierre. And, instead of his being a plumber he were some pretentious French mime? What would the world be like then? What about the Universe? And would any of us even have had a childhood?

@TheZeddyboy Uhh they're not french fries. You can see the orange filter and the flap on the back. Plus they kind of look like a pack of Marlboros.

@Alkhoren Apparently, it's a sort of laugh. I can't say, since I don't come from France myself (though I speak French in a better way than I speak English). It's just another sort of stereotype I guess.

I'd have preferred it if someone who actually speaks French would have done the voice-acting... That way, there'd have been better than just "oui", "bonjour" and "hon hon hon hon"! I know those are the most stereotypical expressions, but delving deeper is always welcome...

@x3m0biile Tu m'as l'air bien frustré toi. Il n'y a absolument rien d'insultant dans cette vidéo, c'est même une vidéo ultra intéressante sur certains cliché que peuvent avoir les autres de nous. Et puis bon en tant que français se plaindre que les autres se foutent de notre gueule c'est un peu hypocrite vu qu'on est aussi les champions pour ça. Va voir un allemande tu verras que c'est pas un nazi, va voir un belge tu verra qu'il est pas complètement demeuré. Pourtant t'en fais des blagues
@x3m0biile Sérieux niveau moquerie, jusque là, on a vu pire... rien de très méchant là dedans, ils jouent sur des clichés niveau bouffe et vêtements, rien de bien moqueur.
