After studying the pros and cons of the games.

I’m old RO fan as well, played eternal love but quit after reaching about level 120. Was thinking about RO X but after this video I think I’m more interested in RO origin.. thx bro for playing and sharing your experience with us

This. I can put my character on auto while I do chores and don't feel like I'm falling behind. I totally get why people don't like auto quest and all that.. but in that case, if you have more free time, invest in a real PC or console game instead of hating on mobile.
Loading screen music for ROO is based on Ragnarok 2 Legend of the second. Nice to see a throw back.

If the Koreans don't love their own games, then it's better to give us (Global) have a taste of it. Ragnarok Online is one of old MMORPG that have fans all over the world. That's why a lot of players play Ragnarok Origin in Korean's server even if they have to use English patch.
We disappointed with Ragnarok Eternal Love in the past and now we see a new hope with Ragnarok Origin. Don't get me wrong, it's not that I hate Ragnarok X Generation, it's just doesn't feels right, and you do know the reason why old players want to play Ragnarok in the first place. It's about "nostalgic" feeling that you used to have with Ragnarok Online but with better graphic and easier to access (with mobile).
After all most of old players have already grow up, we have a job in real life, and even our own little family we need to take care of. That's why we don't have much time like we used to had, like going to PC café after school and play all day long. God! I missed the old days!
Yeah ~ Same here ~ Hope the developers see the global potential on good RO title ~

Old RO players will prefer ROO than ROX because of its graphics. And in ROO you can win without paying. Because devs are giving free items or catnips everyday.

I agree. ROO is a much better game than ROX is.
It may not be perfect but still, the overall experience makes up for it. The current daily quests in ROX are so many. They need to cut it down. Also, if we're to leave our characters to afk grinding/gathering, at least give us the option to do it, offline. Sadly, both ROO and ROX doesn't have this option.

too much thing to do, if we are not fully utilize the stamina, it will be a waste.
And yes, both versions do not have offline leveling features. which is bad.
but RoX will be much better, the daily missions numbers are acceptable and fun to play ~
RoX is a grind game n eat more money such as refinement got no safety level
Which mean is u may refine until +6 but when fail , u could drop back to +2
Origin refine have safety level
Which is when +3 , won't drop below +3
Same goes to +6 +9 +12 +15 +18
And when rich guy in RoX can 1vs300
But ROO rich guy cant... 1v5 might possible
About the daily and content
Yes , RoX win it becoz u got a lot of thing to do to finish until u 24 hours also busy
But Roo spend much lesser time.
Which it's make this game feel boring to hard game grinder...
But good to some people that spend few hours and complete everything
ROO can farm 24 hours too
To collect dolls and make some free hats..

I'm not sure if you play rox at all. It's not possible to drop refine from +6 to +2.
You can downgrade from +4 to +3
But 1-4 is safe and won't be broken and downgrade
i think this comparison is made without spending too much time in ROX. dont get me wrong i like ROO due to their skill trees and alternate classes are available(esp crusader lol) but ROX is way friendlier to non spender cash than in any game RO games released . if you played it more you will understand .
1st- diamonds can be bought using crystals(which is very easy to get)
diamonds bought through this can also be used to buy kingdom pass. this feature makes the game friendlier ton non
spender players.
2nd- its much easier to get rare equipments and cards since the currency used on gacha is farmable daily. no top up needed. also can buy at market shop.
3rd - there is no headgear deposit to this game which makes non spender cash get the chance to be on par with spenders on end game.
ROO on the other hand has a great mechanics on building you characters . but now it gets boring with dev slow update and servers dying. anyways i hope they release global ROO and dont make a lot of new servers like they did on KR.
and i hope ROX release their alternate classes so that people will enjoy more.

ROX: We can get some valuable item and sold in Diamonds (if we are lucky) then we no need to worry our spending. This 1 is totally good for f2p players or small spender. I love this section. ^^

What do you mean? RoX is a whales playground. You need to pay cash to get your character strong in there. Roo is more friendly to f2p. RoX will require you to spend to be able to catch up.

I've been playing ROX since the release of SEA. Spent a couple of money but I feel I will drop this game soon since it demands too much time. I gonna try this ROO. What's the current standing of this game? I heard the characters are too OP and servers are unstable.
Yes you are correct for ROO . Korean server are too unstable, and a lot of incidents happened and the company is not properly solving the issues. Hope if there is a global version, hope the developer puts more effort on it. Yes, the unbalance is true too, basically is the Sniper is the weakest.

Does these both games have tons of dailies to do that if you wont do it put you at a disadvantage? Im in my 30s now and I miss the classic gameplay where you will farm and hunt for your items.

Just sharing info. ROO just released japan server around a month ago. There's no English patch so it will help if you have some Japanese capability. Land of Rom is a private server, not official one. There is rumor of Indonesian server coming up in this year too, but no exact date announced.
If anyone want to try Japan server, im playing in Loki and will be able to give some pointers maybe :)

if we are playing pvp , RoX is a hell, especially Guild VS Guild, Rich players will kill us with ease ~ ROO will be much better in this term.
so if RoX you get super rare item , you can obtain a lot of diamonds, which is letting us to spend for a long time ~ Give and take in RoX
ROO is good , but a bit unbalanced on classes, overall is kind of chill to play and rush, no need to grind 24 hours.
so depending on your preference , i definitely go for RoO~

I once played RO E for nearly 2 years, yet I ceased 1 year ago. The developers are just milking the players, since they have updated more and more ways to induce people to pay.
Yeah ~ RO E still is a better version while comparing , RoX and RoO, they are even worse.
RoX introduce much different eq upgrades system, which really costly. RoO some items are really expensive.
Hope RoO will change while implementing in Global version
If you have a life, stay away from ROX. You login each day, STAY yes STAY in the stupid city for 30min to get 600 odin blessing. Then you spend another 45min running the same errands to earn 1400ish blessing. Why you ask? Because you need the OB to be converted to Stamina so that you can look for things to improve your character. Then you spend 30 min every odd hour (9am, 11am, 1pm, etc) spamming the harvest button to get plants for enchantment - and you have to compete with god knows how many poor souls because not everyone can get a plant. Oh yeah, and you need to leave your device on for hours to bot, mine, etc. Perfect way to kill your battery. ROX is not made for human - stay away!
ps: The production quality of ROX shows that it is nothing more than a cheap cash grab.

F2p have to grind 24/7/365 in order to catch up the pace.

Ragnarok Origin was named Ragnarok Tencent before, it was made by a large company, the makers of pubg.

Not sure how I feel about ROO, been playing ROX non-stop for over a month now, we even got a whatsapp group for our party members lol I feel like if they released an official server for ROO, I might try it and probably stay there if it's truly better than ROX.
RoX equipment progression is required some spending and quite suffering some time.
When G V G is coming , we will feel a lot of different from big spenders vs small spenders

Is there a growth progress limiter like ROX? And how p2w is it?
ROX is highly p2w due to able to buy stamina (items farmed by f2p with stamina) with cash. 100USD can buy you at least a week's worth of stamina.
And f2p are forced to be fodder for p2w players for other growth items, such as some items(shadow eq mats) can only be gained by joining pvp.

RoO will not as obvious as RoX, big spenders maximum 1 v 5, but RoX can eliminate whole f2p guild. That is too obvious ~
Because normal players in RoX is hardly to pump their equipment effectively without spending much of the diamonds/time to resources to enhance their eq.
Rox and roo good if you are more of a different grindset, in short if you dont have a job
Rom el is good because they have to grind less because u have offline battle.

ROX is said to be F2P. BUT ITS INCORRECT.
ROX IS PURELY BASED AND BIASED TO P2W & P2P players. The game forcefully has a new currency item like crystal and diamond. Boss equips can only be bought by diamonds ( only available via real money).
Bullshit. Game sukz... the boss drops only goes to top 3 rank instead of the description that says top 15.
So only top donators are top by default and get the boss drops and become more strong and more richer..

You want to know the problem with ROX? I played for 3 months. The problem is you can grind.. INFINITELY. Kids are going to the extremes of paying a cloud server to run the game for you 24/7 so you basically close the app while grinding and the service keeps your game grinding. Do this all day every day or you are going to fall behind. That's why I'll try ROO now...

what is the difference between rox and roo in terms of time? why rox spends our time more than roo?
@@christiawanprasetyo3061 because there is no limit on the amount of time you can train in rox. You can train all week and continue gaining exp.
On the main server people are using an app service that costs $80 USD/year that will run the game ROX on a cloud server for you so you don't have to ever stop training. It will let you use your phone for other things while still training. If you cant do this or train all day and night then you will not be competitive with the top players in rox.

Been playing roo for a year now. Tried not to be bias and play rox for a week, uninstalled it. Felt like everything went backwards. Too many unnecessary things and we're back to 1 hit MVP's with crazy damage. The only pros is SEA Server. I guess I'm sticking to what's "less is more".

I've played rox first taiwan server and i got bored because of low exp rate even though using full Odin's blessing and when i switch to LOR i never get bored theres a lot of newbie and f2p benefits.

ROO is facing hatred in Korea, wanna know why? First off they designed gacha not to release high quality cards, equips, etc gravity admitted that they set it up for blue cards only or blue items so that players will spend more and buy it in market for 3x to 5x higher price. So it is not really a free to play even if you spent months of months of grinding, unlike ROX you can get it.

Well RO Origin and ROM have different gameplay than the original RO we used to play early 2000s... So far ROX is the one closest to the feel in terms of map and grinding part... Instances and MVP are different...

ROX is a game modeled around extreme RNG.
Absolutely loved the original ro online on the pc.. but now i kinda lost hope there will ever be a fun mmo again. its bout the cash, bout keeping players to play forever... every game has dailies now. its just like work... ur forced to do whatever things again and again, no choice, no variety. fucking hate world of warcraft for it and now every "fun" game adopts that shitty mechanism. Idk. I love to grind. U can do it how long u want and also how short u want or need.. u can be effective bout it and feel the reward. Dailies give u a cap. they force u to do something each day. u need to do it or fall behind. dont we just wanna get to a point in an mmo where we can do what we like? woe, pvp, farm bosses.. when we want to and have the time for it. 200 bosses on saturday maybe and none on the other days. ;)
Games are so focused on economy nowadays that most people just spend their time trading stuff.. dont get me wrong, if thats fun to u, ull find a way. But having 3k people online and 2500 of them are merchants... really? 300 more are afk.... pvp room is empty. what do we even get gear for, really xD
Thought bout making my own game, really id base it on many ro features and modernize it. But an mmo isnt an easy feat hah. even if u get the logic done.. art work is another thing.. multiplayer yet another and then come the server costs, forget feat of getting players to play something less than a perfect game :)

@@majesrumix6296 there are already a lot of games like that like genshin impact but we true gamers want the PC exclusive ones that doesn't involve a Mobile UI as having Mobile UI gives at most 8 keys to click on while PC UI offers almost infinite keys to use making it well diverse and would have a much more like 100x better graphics than a mobile can offer. Let's put it this way, you watch RUclips on Mobile and you're already at HD with 480p in which on PC it goes waaaaaaaaaay higher. Hope you understand my point this time.

Non of those games including ethernal love are like the original one o played as a kid. My first ever mmorpg. There are equip drops in those never versions. Just materials. I remember killing munaks for days just to hord the 0.7% dropchance shoes in payon dungeon. This new versions are just crap and have nothing to do with the ro on pc. Why is it so hard to give us the old ro on android? Just make it f2p or a monthly fee and its good.

IMO ROX is shit, it's basically mainstream mobile mmorpg with ragnarok skin, their WoE is worst, P2W from the start of the game relase, can u imagine MVP/Gold Equip(high-end equipment) being sold at Gacha machine?? gap between f2p and p2w player is too far from the start ,i can say Ro EL much better, it's the closest to classic ragnarok in term of gameplay , it can bring your nostalgic feeling when played it, their WoE and WoC is great, their content update too, the flaw for me is deposit system and dev of sea server is too slow to repsond about bug in the game, i've been playin Ro eternal love since 2018 and decide retiring in early 2021. now im looking forward to try ROO.

I agree most of your point ~Lot of contents in RoE, RoX is really a bad release, and Hope RoO didn't screw too much when releasing in global, a lot of scandal happened in korea verison .
One thing that annoy me is, ro origin map is ugly. If they use the ro pc map style, more fun n pleasing for the eyes to look at. Welp

Which mean is u may refine until +6 but when fail , u could drop back to +2
Origin refine have safety level
Which is when +3 , won't drop below +3
Same goes to +6 +9 +12 +15 +18
And when rich guy in RoX can 1vs300
But ROO rich guy cant... 1v5 might possible

Hmm from my prespective, as a less-spend to free player ROx is the most unsuitable for you, just play it for a month and the rich guy is simply unkillable, wait till woe comes so you will know the difference.
For a graphic, i prefer rom, maybe bcs i leave og RO and found it first mobile ro, and yeah, i like the new system too
I prefer roo for my game friend rn, as it didnt take all my time, and there is limitation on equip build and mvp, so the rich guy that joining would not become number 1 player that instant, giving some breath to the other
Agree , RoX big spenders can really be dominating, f2p or small spenders have no chance when facing them.
