It depends upon what type of play style you prefer. With Pep, you have control of the game with great pass accuracy and balance in the team. On the other hand, with Xabi Alonso, you move direct to the opponent half and the players are oriented to do so, because of which when dispossessed during counter would create a huge space and easy to break down the defense because the team will have only 2 defenders left in the last line. But if you are a better players in terms of vision and predicting player movement, Xabi Alonso would be better. My recommendation is that, buy both and use them according to the game you are going to play.

Most would buy xabi alonso cuz of quick counter but remember in qc you concede more goals so you should be wise between pep and xabi cuz manager player experience points are important and most of us has players over 23 yrs old plus tight possession helps the midfield and attack im not stopping you from buying xabi just be wise
Concede more goals and but easiest to score too compared to other playstyle. Coach affinity doesn't matter much. That are used only for player with unfinished level training. Not many user play with player that still not finished their progression level. 😅 We just buy cheap manager that give 300% affinity to either forward, midfielder and defender instead of only 100% affinity to increase level training of player faster.
Experience points are not needed because we all have maxed all of our players manually...

I think u should buy xabi Alonso as he is the first quick counter manager with 88 and a good +1 to acceleration if u have good players already but if Ur new and don't have many good players u can get Messi pack as it contains many good players like 99 Pedri 99 ter Stegen 104 Messi and 98 Di Maria along with other decent players but in the end it depends on u

Neither of them. Just buy cheap manager with 300% affinity for either forward, midfielder or defender. Or maybe like me just buy all of them and play them as AI. That affinity only used to increase player training and useless if all your player in squad had already completed their progression point. This pack is mainly for first team to boost our player stats instead being used as level training manager.
