I always can’t help but get peeved when people don’t ever show WHY Rimuru wiped out the army. The attack on Tempest was a huge part of Rimuru’s character development: it showed him that even if he had good intentions, one can’t force another side into cooperation, which had essentially been his only real plan up to that point. I mean it is literally the one critical event that caused Rimuru to even try to attain the demon lord title; if his people hadn’t been slaughtered he’d have no need to ascend to demon lord to revive them. The series literally wouldn’t have happened if not for that event and yet so many creators just decide “nah, not important” 😭😭
