Thank you. All the other videos I've found have people attempting to ride right off the bat. You gave me permission to practice balancing and get comfortable in the privacy of my kitchen. After balancing, I did some super short (10-15ft) pedal once rides. after about 10 minutes, I was riding in a straight line the entire length of the block. Turning with confidence is my next goal. Thanks again!

I just got mine it's much harder than it looks like it would be, I'd like to see a video of what your riding has advanced to now? Thanks for sharing

Hey Van, has been two month. How you like your Halfbike? Could you post a review of your Halfbike, please? :)

Thanks. Now I have about 2% confidence I will be able to learn how to ride this thing ;-) ha ha.

Just got mine today. It's trickier to ride than I thought it would be.

I bought a Zike bike few months ago and I realized unlike the regular bike, I need to keep pedaling to keep it moving, which can be tiring since there is no time to recover. Is this the same thing with this half bike. Will this allow you to cruise after pedaling or does it significantly slow down after you stop pedaling. I am thinking getting one for my wife can't learn riding a regular bike. I am thinking that since this is almost a tricycle, it is better to balance. Thanks if you provide more information.

Yes. My mistake. I changed the setting of the gear or whatever you call it just like in a changing a gear in a car, and it does cruise. It does take much effort riding this than a bike, which I did not mind because I needed a work out in shorter time vs. riding a bike. I am though building up my endurance using this gradually.

Hi, how is the riding going? Also do your back wheels lift when making turns? I noticed it did in someone else's video.

I'm giggling away wondering how easy it will be to crack riding mine when it arrives lol

+Stuart Wooster Wondering, did you receive it yet, and how do you like it? I've had my eye on it for some time. I live in USA.. Florida. If I can talk the wife into it, I'll be ordering one myself.

+Nature Carver I just received it Thursday but only been able to have a short burst on it in my street due to being ill. If I'm better tomorrow I'll be taking it out to an open space. Initial ride was quite hard but took me 5-10mins to become more comfortable getting it to go in a straight line Haha!
I've mountain biked lots, but never been a roller-skater or skateboarder.

+Stuart Wooster Thanks, I sure like the concept. The Halfbike looks like fun to me. I've been riding Trikkes for many years, looking to add a Halfbike to the inventory soon.. Good luck!

+Nature Carver So I took it out yesterday for probably half an hour. I'm yet to start carving corners but I got the hang of steering, and importantly because of slants on some roads for water runoff, how to keep it in a straight line Haha! Because of the way it steers you have to lean to one side to keep it straight.
Good fun, but I definitely won't be commuting far on it. I'm sure any longer on it yesterday and I would have muscles appear that I never knew I had lol

I wouldn't rule out distance yet, not if you would like to be using the Halfbike for long rides. I think you and your body may get so used to it after awhile, it will become 2nd nature to you. I've done some incredible things on a Trikke, and now that I'm 60, I haven't slowed down a bit. I'm going to look for you on Facebook, it would be nice to keep in touch if you agree. Some day soon I really hope to have a Halfbike too.

Why call it a half bike its a tricycle without a seat.
