I have the poor woman's bidet, a "bum hose". Bought it decades ago, after a trip to Europe, where I tried them for the first time. Thought it was genius. I'm actually on my second BH, first one lasted 15 years. Took about 15 minutes for me to install on my toilette. Have no idea why they aren't more widely accepted. Tried to get family and friends to try them and they all reacted like I was crazy, which while true , doesn't mean I can't have a good idea every other decade or two. Yeah, and guess whose sitting pretty while the world loses their mind over TP shortage now? O that Karma! 😆

The de-piller is awesome. I had one years ago that I got from a fabric store and it eventually quit working after years of use. I never thought about looking on Amazon for a replacement! Thanks!
I saw your turning 50 video and you look amazing HOWEVER want to say you look so much more youthful with lighter eye shadow and wave in your hair. It's amazing, your eyes look brighter and everything looks lifted and softer...youthful. Thx for the good example!
Lou, love these ideas, particularly the plant based trash bags 👍🏻 Supergas work for people with flat feet and small toes. They also fall apart quickly. Try the Converse Chuck 70. Most comfortable canvas shoe I’ve found. A little pricey, but if you wait for a sale, they’re a more reasonable price.
I love my hand held bidet that we have attached to the side of the toilet. It is the greatest. I have looked at buying the toilet that has all those features, and decided my hand held does what I need, and doesn't cost an arm and a leg. I carry tush wipes in my purse, for when I am not home.
Somewhere in the middle they have attachments for your toilet and they cost a fraction of the price of the actual toilets. I've seen them for as low as $25.
Years ago my grandmother gave me a mini battery operated defuzzer and I never used it. Well now as a grown up with a pre-teen child it definitely comes in handy on a regular basis and I'm looking at purchasing a better one.
Wooden wicks?? That's just wrong. Candles should be quiet. Your fire? For sure, crackle away. Candles: quiet. The de-piller is a must-have. I'll try the lipstick and let you know how I got on.
I have the NYX lip gloss in 'vanilla cream pie' and like it very much. A bit sticky, but lasts. Awhile back I was given a huge Woodwick candle with a 2 inch wick - it was almost too loud! lol But they are nice
Just a tip for anyone planning on buying a de-fuzzer- try and find one that also comes with extra blades and has refills available. I'm on my 3rd one now because all of a sudden, they stopped selling refill blades.

I was so excited to see the plant-based trash bags but when I checked up here on Amazon Canada, Hippo Sak only sells plastic and 'ocean-bound' plastic bags :( Hopefully, that will change! I definitely want one of those clothes shavers though....that will save a lot of things from the donations bag for me. For hair, I'm finding that a biotin and zinc supplement every day has really thickened and strengthened my hair a lot... plus I use a castor oil shampoo and conditioner that also helps.....all bought on Amazon. Thanks for the great list of ideas! :)

I' m also not shopping at Amazon right now because some of their workers are trying to strike, even though they can't have a union. There was a COVID outbreak in the NYC warehouse. An email leaked that Bezos was connected to. The big wigs at Amazon called the person organizing the workers, "not very smart or articulate." This was a person of color, and it was an extremely disgusting thing to say. If this Amazon worker was no big deal, why is the richest man in the world talking about him? Oh, and they fired him after the protect saying he broke quarantine. These jerks are seriously trying to weaponize social distancing and quarantine now in an effort to punish their workers for demanding safe working conditions. This pandemic has brought out the best in some, and the absolute worst in many. Stay well.
