      Yes, because fathers are complete idiots when it comes to raising our kids. We are so dependent on mom to do everything for us.       We got covid around Christmas last year and it was still the time where our organizations were paying for 10 days from a separate funds. It was truly family staycation we were watching LOTR, drinking hot chocolate. Who knew that "in order to get mentally healthy you need to get physically sick" :-D

      Yep! I had 2 surgeries in 3 weeks and had to stay in bed 6 days after each, since on medical work didn’t bother me. Usually on PTO I have to check email and answer “emergency” calls. Not Covid but same idea.

      I mean, those kinda exist. If you buy tests in bulk, you'll usually get a positive test swab to test your tests to be extra sure that your batch is working fine.

      She's had several 'normal' bits and they were all good. I think her gross schtick is hilarious and helped her stand out in Chicago, but I feel like she's gaining confidence that she can be other kinds of funny since joining SNL. She's become one of my favorite cast members.

    My husband forwarded me this skit while he had covid. We both had a much-needed belly laugh which helped his immune system and reduced my stress. This skit is brilliant. I know it will offend some people; but laughing at ourselves is healthy. Having a sense of humor helps us to be more resilient in difficult situations. There are so many subtle bits and pieces of humor and references weaved in. I had to watch it a few times to pick up everything.

      But it is true. Running yourself into the ground working and then being forced to take time off because your immune system is weakened and you’re sick is one of the few ways you can mentally recover nowadays. As for the covid sick, I tried to work remotely until I drove myself into dire illness then had to rest for a week, which really did help.

      I'm one of those less than a 5% chance of surviving on a ventilator people. Seeing people act and talk like covid is a joke is really poor in class. I'm not generally a easy person to offend but far to many people act just like that skit. I was sick over 50 days with no "10-14" day paid vacation from anyone either. I wouldn't wish covid on my worse enemy. There are somethings that just shouldn't be joked about. When my wife got covid she was sick for a week then she was right as rain. I do get that not everyone have a traumatic experience but for many that video is really screwed up and down plays what so many have had to go through.

      Covid has killed almost 7 million people.

      Yeah. Not as bad as doing a lampoon on HIV or cancer, but just like it says in the skit, Covid is not for everyone. Older folks with health issues still have to worry about this stuff even after getting all the shots.

    This was hilarious even though I spent time in the hospital thanks to covid (and the flu. How fun that you can get them at the same time!) And literally got covid again 2 weeks later. The sad part is, if you work from home, they still expect you to work. It would've been worth the extra fee to have my internet knocked out so I couldn't work.

Then I Google Scholared Catecholamine neurons and was amazed that I had forgotten it was part of the Reticular Formation of the brain stem! 😕🥺☹️. Now I understand what you were trying to tell me: these Catecholamine neurons are responsible for our most basic bodily functions that control sleep/wake cycles, breathing, blood pressure, stimuli modulation, among other unconscious activities. Damn! You are definitely on to something that has not crossed my awareness yet-and this concept is terrifying. Not just the heart and arteries, or even the possibility of Prion Disease since the lipid nano particles can cross the blood/brain barrier-but the very CENTER of our being-the Brainstem ITSELF could be being attacked by the spike proteins. This is so fantastical, yet appears to make perfect sense. This is utterly terrifying. What started out as a casual reply by me to your original post, has now caused me to consider ALL of this new knowledge in a different way. Thank you, thank you for sharing that ‘idea’ with me.     My hubby almost died from covid, he had a leg amputated and has 42% of his lung left ....it wasn't a vacation for us...he spent over 2 months in the hospital...the last year was pure Hell.....it isn't over!

It was a full week of exhaustion and night sweats, loss of smell and taste (and I make things that I need to smell in order to formulate correctly!) and more, for my partner and me. We got up only for the bathroom and some food. He had to go back to work after 7 or 10 days, and was so tired after each day. Two years later, I need at Least ten hours of sleep to feel ok.
