I am trying to assemble this for my daughter. On the box and booklet enclosed you have a green stepped piece on the far left. It has an upside blue acorn joined together. However I don’t have a sticky out piece on any acorns to put through the hole. Am I missing a piece?

I'm not sure, it should be able to fit the yellow piece through it. I know I had some difficulty with those pieces myself.
