My dad was a boxer. When he got old he always joked about how he only had one hti left in him, so he has to make it count. I saw that one hit happen in a bar when he was nearly 70s years old. A man that couldn't have been older than 40 threw a punch at my dad and he ducked, came up and hit him and laid the guy out. Afterwards he joked again saying i told you i only had one so i made it count lol. Definitely don't underestimate the old guys. Even if bernard did only have one hit left, he would use it way in the hell better than that guy would.

Older heads have way more experience than a younger dude, the only thing they lack is the stamina to do it over a sustained period of time. Tank is not a very big guy.
