Look into the diagnostic criteria for PTSD, also C-PTSD… sounds like you’re not psychotic, but having an intense trauma response from your mom and it’s manifesting as paranoia, depression, dissociative symptoms, racing thoughts/speech, and inattention. I think your psychiatrist mis-diagnosed you. Paranoia and dissociation is not ALWAYS psychosis. Look into it and ask your therapist. So sorry this scary experience has happened ❤
