The FEBC Report | DWAY's Radio Based Instruction

Radio’s broadcasting capabilities make it a prime channel for distance learning. Our station in Legazpi, Albay, CARE 104.3 DWAY-FM ( / care104.3thewayfm ), helps bridge this gap through ALS or Alternative Learning System. Begun in 2015, ALS school on-air is a learning system that involves several non-formal ways of education. It is currently integrated within the program “Aranduyog sa Pag-uswag” or “Convergence Towards Development” that airs every Wednesday with special participation of Teacher Rey Mark Miña. DWAY-FM has been recognized as one of the designated ALS Learning Centers in Legazpi.
