    Loved the video, I’m trying hard lately to get more competitive with my Necron army and your videos are always well appreciated. Only thing that caught my attention was that Protocol of the Hungry void says(via the app) that the AP improvement can’t stack with other AP modifiers(Like from Szeras). Just didn’t want you to get caught off guard with that since you’re prepping for a tournament. Thanks for taking the time to make these videos!

      No that's a valid point I missed thx for the heads up. I honestly feel like I'm going to go over to canoptek with szerras and two immortal units for the rerolls.

    the Immortals Melee potential seems rather fun!

    I was curious why you are not using the Wraiths to hold objective markers? You could replace the Gauss Immortals that costs 340 points and use them with the Technomancer for 280 points. I know that they are meta but being lead by a character they would hit on 3’s plus pistol and dev wounds and their toughness is insane. Plus if you put the Nether-Realm Casket on they would have stealth and still be cheaper.
    I know sometimes I ask questions without doing my research but I feel like I did this time. I’m excited for your response and to watch the battle report and see your list in action this week.
    Thanks for making these types of videos because I really like understanding the thoughts behind how you are planning on using the units during the game.

      So some of it is testing out interesting combinations and seeing where the tipping point maybe. Another is damage vs resilence. Because I'm running szerras it's ideal (theory) to have more battle line units. The lethal hits off Ap2 (Szerras) has done a Hek-a-ton (get it) of damage. Wraiths are not as reliable for damage...that said yes they are way way more resilent and in my canoptek version I had one squad for that exact purpose of objectives. Also like you said they are meta, they are tested and true to the resilence that they bring and this weekend tourny they may end up coming with me because we do already know they are durriable. Hope that explains the mad scientist approach at this time. It's all about szerras and trying to find the immortal sweet spot.

      I understand the testing just like last August you were testing other things to replace Lynchguard before the dataslate changes came out. One more question if you don’t mind. I’ve never been to a tournament so I was wondering can you change up your lineup from game to game or do you have to turn it in before the tournament starts and that’s what you have to run for the tournament? If you don’t reply that’s alright because I’m sure you will answer it in a video soon. Good luck this weekend!

      Same roster all the way through.

    question: how do you have 4 Overlords in your list? I thought the limit was 3? I believe the Overlord with Translocation still counts as an Overlord for this even though it is a separate datasheet.

    • @timmsnation723
      @timmsnation723  8 месяцев назад

      No it's a separate data sheet rule is no more then 3 of a single data sheet

    • @timmsnation723
      @timmsnation723  8 месяцев назад

      Per rules ist "three of same data sheet name" so because the overlord with traslocation shroud is a different named sheet, you can have 3 of eaxh

      @@timmsnation723 Well that is good to know, Thank you. I was thinking it was because they both are "Overlord" in the keywords. Someone needs to tell battlescribe this, it tells you that you have to many.

    Hello!
    Do you have Facebook and are you in the group called competative necrons 40k? Quite a few pretty good ppl there that can give deceny advice if you want it.
    On secondaries, as I see it I like your anti objective marker build and it naturally leans on storm hostile, however i am unsure if cleanse is the default second option (it might be, it might not). Deploy in the middle for 5 turns are a solid 15. And ofc against certain lists assasinate/bring it down are great.
    What are your thoughts on the following:
    Imotekh the storm lord, wirh fixed the extra CP is sooo nice and he is pretty good in both lychguard (lives longer) and immortals (rerolls to wound with his flamers and other weapons).
    Tomb blades, they also have the move shoot move and prolly the highest non-teleporty mobility in the codex.
    Silent king, i know i know cost alot but he is a mirror match breaker with his ignore mods.
    C'tans, yes yes very meta but hard to ignore with their profile at the low pts cost that they have.
    In general I believe Awakened dynasty is a good choice as it good in the mirror as the extra reanimation paired with high dmg potential with strats and +1 hit makes you units do more and sometimes survive better.

      First thank you for taking the time to respond i appreciate when any takes the time to comment on the content we make here. Ill try my best to answer your questions.
      Yes, I am part of that Facebook group and many more. I actually converse and post there frequently and have meet many Cron players there. For these videos i create them to start the conversations as well as give a glimpse into how/why units make the cut in some list. A behind the scenes if you will. Also i don't want to annoy the moderators with content for my channel. Here and there I do post but i try to restrain myself out of respect to all gamers involved.
      Secondaries, Yes there are scenarios where i may swap cleanse for Assassinate or Bring it Down...but for the base the reason i like cleanse is its harder to skunk. Playing off center into some builds may be too hard and i could lose a lot of points. My theory is if i play on cleanse i can spread my opponent out and continue to score instead of them being able to castle on center and cost me many points. (in theory)
      Immotek i considered and he has hit my painting desk a few times during this. ultimately my Monday test ill see if being able to 0 out battle tactics strats is enough in all honesty i have no idea.
      Tomb Blades are always an option and where part of my Obeisance Phalanx. So they are always sitting in the maybe slot. Im trying flayed ones to prep for putting annihilation legion on the channel. Plus i think they can do what blades do a little better because of stealth...i think most list blades are the choice over flayed ones because of speed, for me its the infiltrate and stealth. (Again just a theory giving you my rebut for thought)
      SK is interesting and i plan to revisit him after i spend time with szerras. Once i put this list together it gets costly i had to kind go with some cheaper option (LHD 150 for 3) but i have been looking at him more and more. I have thought about him in Hyper crypt as well as Obeisance...now its silly but the entire detachment bases on keeping him alive lol. Issue with the latter is he isn't a triarch or an overlord...lame.
      Ctan...yeah to meta and people are prepping for them...I'm prepping for the world without ctan after the summer data slates.

      @@timmsnation723 no problem mate, happy to comment and help.
      Side note, Tomb blades also come with stealth (if you take the shadowloom) and they advance and shoot (if you have at least one tesla) ofc you should try the flayed ones but man those space bikes are fast and trixy
