I played this video back about 6 times and then watched it about 6 more times in .25 playback speed. I didn't once figure this out, even playing back that slow, until I played the game we've all played "what's missing from picture A that's in picture B". It took literally two frames of comparison to to even notice this method on camera. So bloody perfect. The ultimate execution of slide-of-hand....teehee!!! Every distraction, every bit of patter was layed on us all and performed flawlessly. I aspire to be this good one day. Definitely a role model in magic for me. When I think of a magician in my head and when I think of me being a magician you come to mind first and foremost nowadays. You are the definition of a magician. Many others are just really good at performing it. Your pores leak and your blood flows magic. You can truly tell that you love what you do and there's never anything that will get in the way of changing your mind. Not any amount of money, not any type of injury. I bet you'd find a way to perform sleight-of-hand even if you had Steven Hawkings situation.
Jason, you have a very nice tutorial style. You break things down into small steps and you point out potential potholes in the road before we fall into them. 🙂 I would have also shown on the ribbon flip how you can use one card on edge to drive the flipping cards, it looks like they are magnetically attracted and I think it really enhances the effect.
Thanks. I'm no magician, but at 67 years old, going through chemo for pancreatic cancer. I figure maybe I can keep occupied. I love your videos, and your persona comes across as if we know each other. Thanks.
Honestly these videos contain very little value for anyone with some experience with cards, but at the same time I know that this is going to get some people into card handling who just watched your videos but weren't doing it before, and that's all I care about. Thanks for being a motivation
I’m not a magician. But I have been watching magicians and how to do tricks for decades now.. I kinda get the trick.. if he got that one first try, or even second.. dudes so good
Off topic here.. But for those who think that content is easy, I just want to say I applaud Jay for his consistency and dedication. Mentally, it drains you, but with persistence man you've been pushing. Good luck!
I actually commented on a more recent video asking for things like this before I found this video. More card control/flourishes etc would be amazing! Good to look fancy whilst slaying some tricks too!? Love your stuff
Seriously man! This video has 5,500 view, and WHY didn't at least half of you hit the like button? I don't get it. Or maybe they don't. ;-) Thanks for the refreshers... A little story: I was practicing shuffling in the train a little while ago... and like five minutes before one stop, an old lady came hobbling over to me and said, "If I could shuffle like you, the ladies at my card game would be so impressed." So sweet. I would have taught her something, but she had to get off the train. And here I see I've been doing the fan all wrong. :) Thanks. Got it on the second try. Ha ha!
I remember when I first tried to learn the charlier cut. I taped two packets from a deck. Just to get the move down. After getting comfortable with the moment then using the training wheels. Also, after this I tried both hands. Thank you for the tutorial as it allowed me to focus on the little things that I have overlooked. 😊
You are a great teacher and entertainer. I pretty much know what to look for, but I watch some of your tricks over and over and honestly can't figure out how the hell you do them. Keep up the good work brother!
Wow, at first time watching this I'm going to be honest with you I thought about it I watched it a second time and I got to say Jason you got to love that middle finger..😅😂. But my friend... you are still GREATEST. DEFINITELY I would say you are the top of CARD MECHANICS That i have seen.. but I'll definitely say this there is no editing done here. Definitely practice this one. But I don't know if this is people-friendly magic. Because of the angles might be camera only?? Just my opinion
I do a little bit of card magic and cardisyr, but your technique for the riffle and bridge was a bit different to what I do and damn it was eaaaaay easier , too haha. Great video.
1:48. The 2 is on the top of the deck. You can notice the top card is slightly angled then it’s not after his hand goes over the deck. It’s a smooth move
he flicks it off the top of the deck so it goes under his left hand. Then he puts the aces together on top of it. When he reveals the cards, the bottom card gets dealt out second to make it seem like it was in the middle.
I do the Charlier slightly different. I don't push the cards all the way up with the pointer finger. I just push with my pointer untill I have the packet in the webbing of my thumb and pointer finger then lever it up, and over with that. For me this was eaier and I don't acidentally push additional card with the pointer.
Ok so everyone, get this video to 2500 likes so he can teach us that trick I want to learn it pweeeeeeaaaaaase. It’s gotta be worthy of a like and share baby!
i wonder do these kind of shuffles work on tcg cards too? i take it no one does it because alot of those cards are super valuable but would they work or is the problem the size?
Great video, I've been doing these shuffles for years, somehow I first learned to shuffle in all sorts of different ways before I learned an actual trick 😂🤷♂️
@@streetmagiciandude Yes, that's right, I hadn't planned it, but it made things a lot easier for me, and it still does. Also, it felt easier for me to learn false cuts and false shuffles because I had practiced the correct versions over and over again.
Riffle shuffle takes 5 min to learn but days to master. If you didn’t flicked the 2 ♠️ in middle of jokers then I have literally no clue how you did that 😮
Upon further practice I still can't do the stupid thumb fan. Seems so easy but it's just a mess. Also apparently all my decks are left-handed. Numbers are top left and bottom right. So any mild success at the thumb fan just shows white edges. Not cool at all
I just saw your old videos nd 2 years ago also you did the same 365 challenge but you stopped on day 137 why did that happen? I am really curious to know
dont forget to hit the like button baby!!! i hope you guys enjoy this!!
p.s. lots of vlogs coming soon!!!
Loving the tutorials keep em coming 😂
I gotchu… how many tries did it take with your daily trick? I have to know.. it’s a bit of camera angle too right? I could be dead wrong
I’m almost positive I know how you did it.. again I could be dead wrong. I hope I’m not cause that just makes you more amazing.. well done

A little advice, don’t try using uno cards, it won’t work
hahahaha it might work
I did the exact same thing lol. It didn't work 😂
I was just trying uno cards!
worked for me tho
How do uno

OMG Super easy, barely an inconvenience!
The cross-over I didn't know I needed ✨
After so many years of playing cards I finally learned the bridge thanks to your easy to follow tutorial. Thanks, man!
Thanks for the tips man. Still struggling a bit with the riffle. But practice will help. I can feel it. :D
Glad it helped!
I really appreciate the time to show beginners how to be better at card manipulation !!! Thanks !!

Finally, after two years practicing, I learned from you the riffle shuffle and the fan in seconds! Thank you a lot!
20 mg of morphine and some of Jason’s videos 👍👍👍🍄 it doesn’t get any better ✌️✌️
15mg of oxycodon works to😂🍄🤝
lmaooo
hope youre doing well brother!!
like a minute in
Bro is getting Zooted
Great step-by-step tutorial of everything broken down. You have an excellent way of teaching. Those shuffles look incredibly smooth too 😄
1:46 Nice toss, if not a cut.

I love sussing your tricks and that was very skilful, well done and defo one for a small crowd
Card spreads are so satisfying.
I love the ribbon spread at the end

That lazy finger kills me!
Awesome tutorial man. Thank you so much
lolol lazy finger magic!!
I hate magic, but you're the hardest working guy on the web - you deserve every sub, and you've got mine - and I'm starting to like magic.
Duuude how many takes did that trick take! I realised what you were about to do and said out loud ‘no wayyyyy’!!

Many years ago I purchased The Art of Card Manipulation tutorial videos by Jeff McBride, and it totally changed the way I look at a deck of cards
You’re a good teacher, and also cute
Question: When it comes to fanning and water falls and such, is it recommended to use a new deck?
I love you man ❣️
Can’t wait for Edinburgh Fringe vids
me neither!!
Was that a pitch meeting reference?! Holy crap lol good on ya man
hahahaa yes it was!!
wuow, what an amazing trick at the beginning of the video.. is there a way to motivate you to provide the respective tutorial?
what type of cards should i use? what material should the cards be made of to do theses tricks? please help me out, thank you
These shuffles were TIGHT!

Wow, normally I'm wondering how you did that trick but I actually saw you this time. Still awsome though
Djeeeee what is this difficult, my (Bicycle) cards are going everywhere!! Now I must say that my fingers are quite stiff to say the least lol
Shuffles are tight.
Keep goin strong man but remember drink water we love u mate
i drink alot of water promise haha
lool it took me days/weeks to learn the thumb fan... and I still struggle to get a perfect, even spread today.
Great very nice
I am ready to be a Vegas dealer now!
yay!!
Are there any tricks that come better using old decks instead of new ones? Or the opposite?
yeah a few hahah
2:00 the two of spades was slid from the bottom of the three cards not in the middle...
I have really awkward hands and long fingers, so this card stuff is hard for me, but I'll keep trying!
what are the playing cards with a white circle and red lines on the side name

I feel like onion magic is where it's at
I got the thumb fan first try!
"let these cards fall-"
*Entire deck falls on top of phone*
I love how they say in "no time" yet he has dedicated what, the past 5+ years to this? ;) dont forget to practice yall
i have a deck fro the 70s and when I try to do the card fan it draws the entire deck everytime hahah
It's like a fidget spinner toy when I'm working. I do the charlier cut and try to spin a card on my middle finger.
lol i might teach the spin soon!!
Im always loosing my cards because they are too damn slippery. Any advice on that or am I just not good enough yet?
😊
What time is the magic trick?
I did get the thumb fan on the first try. Why was I struggling with that so long? o.O

how did you do the magic trick.

Is it possible on Pokémon cards?
Entirely random question.
How many decks of cards do you go through in a year?
Days of practising this and still can't get the riffle shuffle. I think my thumbs are made of rubber 😅
While practicing these, i just realized i have small hands😅. And here i thought my hands were average-size
nah hand size doesnt matter just have to stretch your fingers haha
I have super small hands, I can't even riffle it with one hand.
yet =] may just need to build up a little strength in your fingers
I can't practice the charlie cut because my hands are a lottle small sooo i can´t controller the deck :( someone more??
