It's so that you don't salvage it by accident. I think it'll only prompt you if the equipment is new to your inventory. There's a 24hr cooldown when unlocking so you might not wanna lock stuff like stigmata that you may consider salvaging (in case something good in the exchange shop shows up)

Her signature weapon is still the best choice for her, she needs the attack speed and SP charging speed. Cleaver of Shamash is quite similar to Blood Rose's ultimate.

Yea, the Vermillion Knight is very expensive to build. If you're going for an S Rank, and mainly to focus on the abyss, then the Herrscher of the Void or Shadow Knight might be better as dps. The Celestial Hymn is a good option because she pulls everything together and has really good DEF debuffs, so she can help increase the firepower of physical valkyries she's teamed up with.
With f2p gear VK surpassed HV..VK charged attack is insane dmg..VK is good at memorial arena but isn't at abyss because she is melee but maybe VK good at upcoming abyss rework.
They both have the ability to lower incoming indirect damage, so they can both do well in the Abyss. The Vermilion Knight would probably do better in the Memorial Arena because she requires less build up to deal high amounts of damage, but the Herrscher will be easier to build if you don't have either of their signature equipment. Physical sets are easier to build. If you do plan to get their signature equipment, the Herrscher would still be a better choice overall

Quick math $700 USD give or take assuming all crystals were topped up totalling 46k crystals

Do you have Blood Dance? Blood Dance should work well for her. The generic fire stigs should also work.
