A testimony is what we call a "circumstancial" evidence, which that mean that they can only used to contextualised "physical" evidences.
Because it’s simple to testify but to prove our testimony, physical evidences are needed.
For example, imagine a murder case.
A killer killed his victim and hid his crime but someone sees him did it.
They prevent the police but maybe cause of the shock, they forgot to record the scene of the murder and don’t know where the killer put the body.
The murder weapon was found bloodstained but no prints as the killer was intelligent, he wore gloves.
He was not injured so only the victim’s blood was found on the scene.
In other words, only the witness testimony can led the police to a possible suspect: the true killer.
But this killer also perfectly prepared his alibi as he completely premeditated the murder.
In your opinion, is the witness testimony sufficient in this case to prove the person is the killer ?
Well if allmight demands his quirk back then if deku secretly decides to fight crime at night they have no one to blame back themselves plus if he joins the villains do to this it's there own fault image if the real traitor reveals themselves after this

Nah, i think it happened differently.
Izuku knew who was the traitor because his family informed him about it.
Alas, the heroes found Izuku was AFO’s son and then considered him as the traitor.
So, at that exact time, Izuku decided to betrayed the heroes as they betrayed him first.
Denki’s role was probably to protect Izuku too, considering he’s his boss son.
