Believing in the Gospel of the Grace of God in Christ, God takes out of the linage of the First Adam and puts us into Christ, the second Adam, the NEW Man with a new inheritance. Baptized into Christ by the Spirit. Just being in the old Adam, regardless if one is good or bad, is what condemns us. In other words, not being in the New Man Christ, we are condemned. In Christ we inherit Life and being in Old Adam is condemnation and death.
All praise to God for His Righteousness and forgiveness of all sins that He bestows upon ALL who believe that: 3 " ...Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:" Amen and Maranatha.
Please provide a book, chapter and verse that says we aren’t forgiven until we believe the gospel. I simply haven’t found it. What is in scripture is we have the righteousness of Jesus Christ imputed to us at the moment we believe the gospel. Limited atonement (forgiveness) is what Calvinism teaches and it’s simply not biblical. Grace and peace.

Christ is the propitiation (which is the atonement) for the sins of the whole world. 1 John 2:2 KJV. The atonement has been made for ALL but not everyone has forgiveness of their sins. You only have forgiveness of sins the moment you believe the gospel having faith in the blood of Christ. Romans 3:21-28, Eph 1:7, Col 1:14 KJV. The next scriptures show the unsaved world and how they treasure up wrath against the day of wrath (they are not saved). For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.
