"The Nightingale" - Eliza Carthy and the Gift Band Live at Cornerstone - Didcot

Unfortunately Norma Waterson was unwell and could not perform with her daughter Eliza Carthy and her husband Martin Carthy and rest of the Gift Band at the concert on Solstice-Eve (20 December 2013) at the Cornerstone in Didcot, Oxfordshire. Despite missing Norma's great talent it was a great show as one might expect from this folk music family institution that is Waterson/Carthy. This time by necessity Eliza sings the song solo, the beautiful traditional ballad "The Nightingale"
