Yes!!! The same thing happened to me! The vertigo, migraines, blurred vision, shooting pain in my thighs, shaking, rash and anemia. Nurse practitioner told me its IBS because I didn’t lose weight and my celiac test also came back negative. I did research (i also prayed because im a believer) and found i could have an intolerance. Immediately I stopped eating gluten and within a few days my head fog cleared and i felt sooooo much better. Living gluten free isn’t so bad and definitely worth it!

      Amen!
That's how I found out I was allergic to gluten. The first time I ever heard of the term gluten free before it was popular I heard the Holy Spirit in a clear voice tell me to look into it.
Then ffw 8 years later when I was working with a doc i asked him to run allergy tests on me and he said ok and i asked him to add the celiac panel and he said i don't think you have that....
but said if you want it we can check for it.
And sure enough It came back positive. He then asked did I want to see a GI specialist to see if I had celiac disease or was just allergic to gluten. At this point I was getting ready to move out of state in a few weeks so I told him no that I will do it when I move.

I’m celiac, you don’t have to be medically diagnosed, believe me you know. If I get accidentally glutened I get very ill, bloating bowel pain I need a bathroom immediately I have brain fog dizziness, the fatigue is over welling, I can’t hardly put one foot in front of the other. It takes me two or three days to get over it. When I’m back on the gluten free diet, I’m fine again. I have a two yearly colonoscopy as bowel cancer is in my family, celiac never shows up as I’m gluten free. I was told I’d have to eat gluten for 6 weeks for it to show up in a colonoscopy. No way would I do that, I wouldn’t be able to leave my home.

I am so happy I found this video I could cry. A lot of people who do speak out about their experience with gluten talk about the basic symptoms stomach aches, bloating, etc. If they talk about the brain fog and eye problems it is quickly and not severe. For the last few months I had started to convince myself something was horribly wrong with my brain and death was close! Hearing your story and your symptoms is such a relief to me. Take away my gluten, dairy, soy, everything I DONT CARE i will eat nothing but lettuce for the rest of my life if it means these symptoms clear up. I now feel confident no matter how my test results come back that the improvement I feel on a gluten free diet is enough to put my brain at ease. Hello. Would like to say that having adverse reactions by eating wheat could have various reasons, not necessarily due to the gluten. Wheat is rarely eaten as a whole grain, like a kamut / spelt salad or soup. People use to eat to much flour productsmany times, and probably not good quality flours and proper elaboration.
I humbletly think that if we could eat whole grains as berries, in soups, salads, risottos, overnight porridge...it would be fine most of the time. And whole grain rye sourdough bread would be great too. Not for people who suffer from celiac disease, of course.
      Hope it can help. Greetings

I've suffered almost my whole life with ibs, constipation, bloating, reflux, postnasal drip, halitosis, etc. I have tried cutting out gluten before, but I wasn't very strict with myself and I would cave and eat gluten. The weird thing is I don't always feel bad after eating bread, so I'm not sure if I just have a delayed response or what. I also figured out it was gluten but the doctors constantly diagnosed me with IBS and 'anxiety'. I am NOT an anxious person but they would not hear it. Kept trying to give me antidepressants. It was so bad that when I had a ruptured Ovarian Cyst and I lost 2L of blood internally, in A&E, the doctors kept rolling their eyes and saying I was having an anxiety attack. Sounds very similar to my story! Severe Celiac symptoms since earliest childhood, now in my forties but never officially diagnosed. Instead it's been no end getting fobbed off by doctors with "IBS, anxiety, hallucinations, anorexia" etc. When my hair started to fall out it was accusations that I must be pulling my own hair out. When I explained that I have never had a period, I got accused of only imagining that. When I stated that I have never been anorexic, I got accused of only imagining that I eat.
Strange that all my "hallucinations" stopped since I changed to a glutenfree diet 20 years ago. Somehow that would tell me that my symptoms were real and not imagined... but then what do I know, I'm only a stupid patient. (sarcasm)
I fully agree with everyone on here, doctors are the pits and I avoid them now. I've also been traumatized by the way I got treated (and continue to get treated) by doctors who just want everybody on tons of tablets because it's big business for Big Pharma.

I'm really happy you found out what caused all your symptoms. I've been experiencing so much anxiety and I got depressed and IBS problems and I stopped eating a lot of food because I thought that I was getting sick off of it and I was going through so much like the vertigo severe headaches I've had a lot of trembling weak arms and knees always feel like I want to pass out I had almost everything you had. And what finally made me realize that it's just something more than anxiety was because every time I ate some kind of food I would feel so drowsy like I took some sleeping medicine and I was about to pass out all the time. So I had to look into it and I noticed that everything I was eating was mostly bread biscuits cereal chips tortillas period and every time when I got light-headed and dizzy and sleepy I noticed that everything had to deal with some kind of bread so I looked it up and I found out about celiac disease. I was so tired everyday to where it was not normal so I went to my doctor and I told him about gluten and all he did was just tell me to stop eating gluten for 10 days and come back to him. So on my second day of being gluten-free I noticed I had so much strength, all my bloating gas and heartburn and acid reflux went away I noticed I was more happy. I had no more anxiety or negative thoughts. And I felt so happy. So when I went to the doctors I told him how I felt and he says that I am gluten intolerant. I didn't take no blood test I didn't take nothing because he said that he would rather put me on a gluten-free diet first. And I'm so happy that I did it because I feel so alive now. @awaithim4103 3 года назад

A lack of good "biotics" (pro-biotics) in the gut, can cause anxiety. So when a person takes anti -biotics, they are killing both good and bad out of their gut. Then when even a simple sugar is reintroduced inside a stomach, the system is broken down even further, damaging the intestines and causing a very unhealthy stomach ~unable to digest foods well, unable to absorb nutrients; like a domino effect. Things just continue to get worse and worse for that person. Best thing to do is get a good pro-biotic, (Plexus Vital BIOME) , get on a Keto diet (and gluten free) watch, corn, dairy, soy,....stay away from those things as much as possible...and over time,... see your whole body get BETTER.

I've dealt with most symptoms you've mentioned for over 10 years... I've been on all types of meds for my stomach issues but they never seem to go away. The vertigo didn't start until last summer. I went to the doctor and she literally had no clear explanation as to why I was feeling them, thankfully they went away after about 3 months. However, the bloating, brain fog, and constant tiredness were still my cryptonite. Just last Friday, a coworker asked me why I was working from home instead of the office, and I shared with her all of these symptoms I was feeling that morning. Immediately she asked me if had bread for breakfast? I said "Yes". In fact i had LOTS of bread that morning...aye, I'm a breakfast type of guy.
Her response was: "STAY AWAY FROM GLUTEN!". Of course she shared her story and it resonated with me.
The very next day, I had a cheese omelette for breakfast ( PS: Dairy does not affect me much, in fact it soothes my stomach aches).
My goodness I never felt better!!! In over 10 years, I have never felt so fueled and fired up in the morning since that day. It's amazing how one small change can affect your entire body...and life for that matter. I was diagnosed with Celiac 7 years ago. I had dizzy spells since I was a teenager. Also had heart palpitations. Right before diagnosis I was having POTS. If you still have neurological problems after going gluten free, try taking B12 as well. My symptoms got worse because I ended up having low B12 due to Celiac.

I can relate to your b deficiency problem. I was 20, & after I woke up after having brain surgery to remove my right temporal lobe that was crushed by forceps at birth; I was surprised by what the doctor said. The neurologist told me that my main cause of my Epilepsy from 3 months old until then, was caused by this brain injury from the forceps. But, he told me that not ALL of my seizures were Epileptic Seizures. Some were caused by my severe Hypothyroidism (Iodine Deficiency) that I was diagnosed with at 11 years old. Others were caused by serious sensitivities & allergies to things like: Grape Juice. That always caused seizures in me every time I drank it. Same with all cruciferous vegetables like: broccoli, cauliflower, rhutabega, spinach, turnips, cabbage, Brussels sprouts, & other foods, due to my thyroid problem. He also told me that both my Magnesium levels, & ALL my B Vitamin levels were dangerously low; & that these deficiencies were also causing me to have seizures as well. I was surprised because no doctor ever told me that I had a vitamin b or magnesium deficiency before this. Yet, not long after I went back home from this surgery, I paid extra close attention to my immune system's reactions, & sure as heck, I was still getting Auras off & on at times. And even now, if I don't get enough salt in my diet, take at least 150-300mg of a vitamin b complex daily, I will get auras. Auras are the same of the warning you get just before you're going to take a seizure. Now that I no longer have a brain injury or Epilepsy, I can easily figure out what's causing my auras, & not have others just brush it off saying, oh, it's just epilepsy. Something genetic in her family. Not true. I don't carry a gene for epilepsy. The neurologist specialist here in Ontario told me years ago that my epilepsy was not a genetic issue. It was caused my malpractice, period. He said the doctor who delivered me, caused my epilepsy. Not my parents' genetics. Therefore, take it from me. If you're anything like I am with these problems, or like what were talking about: ibs, celiac, digestive problems, lactose intolerant, etc.... Make sure you get your vitamin levels checked, & find out how much to take that's safe for you, & make sure to keep up with that. Because, look at what happens to me, if I don't. Seizures, Gastritis, Osteoporosis, Acid Reflux, Duodenal Ulcer, Pituitary Tumor, Sleep Apnea, Fatty Liver, & on & on for my list of health issues. These issues put me at an even greater risk for cancers, diabetes, bloodclots, heart attacks, strokes, etc... All that just for not getting enough nutrients daily. Remember, what's A good amount for you to take vitamin wise, isn't always good for someone else. So don't mock others. Stick to what a doctor specialist tells you, educate yourself on how much is good, & what is the max daily for you, etc... I had to do this myself because I had Osteoporosis of the spine at age 16. All because, at around age 11, I started noticing that I couldn't drink cow's milk anymore, & was having trouble with most types of cheese, cream soups, etc... So, I quit eating cereal altogether, drinking milk, cut back on almost all cheeses, & limited my amount to a very small amount once in a month or a year even when it was really bad. When it was severe, I quit all milk products & within just those 5 years of doing that, I ended up shrinking at least 2 or more inches in height at that age. And all because, I cut out what bothered me, & didn't have anyone to tell me about my serious deficiency in time before it got to the point of Osteoporosis. I had to take 1,000mg daily for years because I couldn't have any milk products at all. Now I can have some cheese. Especially, mozzarella but, don't eat too many other kinds & brand names do matter too. Because some are worst than others. So, make to be your own doctor to some degree by educating yourself as much as possible about whatever problem you have: Read, Read, Read, & always ask a doctor or pharmacist about supplements it's & what's safe for you & get your levels checked at least once a year or more. If you do that, you'll learn how to manage your issue like a pro. Hope all goes well for you & everyone else. Take care & all the best. :)

I've experienced most of the symptoms you described - vertigo, nausea, anxiety, shaky hands, vision/focus issues. But the main benefit I got from cutting out gluten was how much more clearly I can think now!
People describe it as brain fog, but it almost felt like short term memory issues. It was difficult for me to recall things I just said moments ago, or to read books without constantly backtracking, or even to pay attention to conversations with people. I thought I was just in a bad mood, or had anxiety issues that kept me from focusing. I often wondered what happened to me, when as a child I could easily read a book in one night.
I've been on a gluten free diet for just about 2 weeks now, and since day 5 my mind has been so much more clear! I can keep up with conversations, lose myself in a book, and play music again, after over a decade of thinking I just wasn't motivated enough to do any of that stuff. It's still hard for me to believe that gluten was the cause of it all!

    • @fishgerms
      @fishgerms 3 года назад +2

@@jennaelisabeth2768 yeah, that was happening to me for about 3 weeks. I tried cutting out dairy and every other grain (corn, rice, oats, etc) and after about a week of that my nausea went away pretty much completely! I've read that although there haven't been studies on it, many people with gluten intolerance and celiac feel better after removing all grains.
Another thing to keep in mind is that there's trace amounts of gluten in a lot of things, so it's best to stick with certified gluten free stuff and unprocessed fruits/veggies for the elimination phase of the diet, and then carefully add one food to see how it effects you.
For me, it seems like dairy causes digestive issues but no nausea. Whenever I've tried drinking oat milk or eating corn tortillas, I get the same symptoms I used to get - waking up nauseous and needing to use the bathroom.
Good luck and I hope you figure out how to start feeling better!

Wow! You are so lucky! Your cousin is your guardian Angel! ❤️ Your story is so similar to mine! But my health deteriorated further to the point where I was vomiting blood, and my organs began to shut down. I was tested twice for celiac, and both times it came back negative. The third time was finally positive. I was like you, feeling really dehydrated and then I started vomiting a lot. Within 2 weeks I was in the ICU fighting for my life. I was only 35 at the time. I was very fortunate that a very experienced Head doctor was in Emergency teaching when I was brought in, and he took interest in my case. He didn’t leave my side for over 3 days. I believe he save my life. It took me close to over a year to start to feel like a normal person again, and get my strength back. Gluten can be a life threatening allergy.

Your progression of symptoms is very similar to mine. Headaches and migraines when I was younger, to more severe when I was in high school and college. Around college, I started dealing with EXTREME fatigue, then came the IBS, GERD and GI Mobility problems. It felt like having the stomach flu for 2 years straight. I have also suffered from depression and anxiety, so I figured a lot of these concerns were stress-induced. Started seeing a psychiatrist and psychologist again- it didn't help. Had tests done by my GI doctor and started taking probiotics and it helped a bit, but not a solve-all for me. I started doing my own research and came across celiac and I had a hit, got tested, and my IGA test was so high the test couldn't give an accurate number. I am just recently going gluten-free, and my bloating, fatigue, and nausea symptoms are starting to get better. It's going to take a while for me to get back to normalcy due to the damage in my small intestine.

Recently I had a viral infection that cause me to be in the hospital for 3 days. I was not Covid, but I noticed that the IBS symptoms were worst. I began to eliminate foods that nauseated me and caused me pain. But it wasn't until I ordered a vegan gluten free meal of Lo mein that I discovered that I needed to go to an allergist. After that meal my eyes and cheeks were swollen and red, I had nerve pain in my hand and feet, mild temours, one side of my nasal passage was closed and I had a sinus pressure headache.
      I felt nauseous and weak.
So I am praying as I go to the allergist/ immunologist I will
      get some help.
Would you know what despite ordering a gluten free meal O would have that reaction?

I used to get migraines here and there, so I suppose I’m fortunate to not have suffered from them as much as you. I had ballooned to over 310lbs, I suffered from IBs, Heart palpitations, aching bones, chronic pain in my body that felt like I was melting inside (inflammation), blurred vision, confusion, fatigue, shortness of breath, hypertension, vertigo, numbness in my feet and arms, rapid and irregular heart beat, the list could go on, and I’m sure there was more but I had decided that I would try to see a doctor. My doctor did a stool and blood test, found nothing but said I needed to lose weight.. duh. I’m 6’2” and was a power lifter. I had gone through different patterns of eating clean and then eating like a dump truck. I always ballooned up and I just figured it was America’s obesity from fast food.. which it very well may have been. But after I entered my 30’s... my body had had enough. I developed extreme ibs, inflammation and was beginning to feel pain deep in my arteries, armpits and inner thigh/hip region. I had tons of muscle and ate clean when I was power lifting - rice, veggies, chicken... but it wasn’t until things got really back this past year that I decided to try to cut gluten and dairy out of my diet. I’m sure my issues came from the American diet, but now I cut all gluten, dairy, beef, and caffeine from my diet. I feel amazing now, and in a matter of 4 months, my body course corrected, I lost 55 lbs, and aside from just watching my cholesterol, I’m very healthy now. I’ve tested eating gluten and dairy again. The dairy makes me retain water and upsets my ibs.. so obviously lactose intolerant. The gluten causes rapid inflammation, causes me to immediately throw up at times, or knocks me out like I had gone into a diabetic coma. I am not diabetic and even my doctor said I wasn’t even pre-diabetic when I was 310 6’3” and working out everyday. Basically, you’re 100000% right, and I’m a gluten survivor.. because I was on my way out due to Gluten, thankfully we caught it, and now it’s all good!! 🤙🏼🙌🏼 take care fellow survivor!! 🤗

I've had most of the symptoms you described for the past about 11 years, and they've been progressively (but slowly) getting worse as the years go by. I, too, had many of the same worries about graduating college and not being able to find a job with the symptoms, except I then went on and failed to get a job and become independent for far too many years because, just as I feared, the symptoms made having a job nearly impossible. I've never been one to put much stock in "cure all" trends like raw veganism, coconut oil, etc. but I'm starting to think gluten just might be my problem. Can't hurt anything to try going without it for a few weeks. I'm glad you were able to get your issues sorted out. I know all too well the hell of not having a diagnosis and therefore having to try your best to carry on with life as if you don't have health problems because you can't get any assistance without a diagnosis.

Terrible joint pain when I was 11-13 years old. IBS, PCOS, migraine when I was a teen. ( Cupping therapy treated my migraine headaches completely! )
Brain fog and fatigue, the whole of my life.
    Adhd, depression, bad sleep.
Hair loss, bad nails, bad hairs. Now I'm 28 yrs old, experiencing nausea since 4 months ago. God how did lived my life with those illnesses?! Gluten ruined my life, I used to live my life with those pains but now I'm kind of happy because finally I do know what is the source of my past and present illnesses and I can treat it.
The doctor I've recently visited was totally confused with my symptoms but he was a supporter dr, He was like wow! you know about gluten intolerance! He told my mom that I diagnosed my problem like a professional doctor! (I just can't understand why doctors are so ignorant about gluten, the info is everywhere in the net!) I'm very new to gluten free diet, but I still experience very bad nausea-reaction to eating large amount of chickpeas, potatoes also soy, instant coffee and bone broth. Which is weird because they introduced to us as gluten free. But I guess I have extremely inflammatory guts that can't tolerate carbs and dairy. Let me know if u have same experience with carbs, maybe we can help each other. Sorry for bad ENG, I'm not a native speaker. Wish u all health and wellness ✨🤍

Yep this was me before I stopped eating gluten on my own and found out that it was the culprit. I thought that I had cancer and that I was dying or something. The worst symptom by far was the panic attacks though, I probably wouldn't have even realized what was going on had it not been for the panic attacks. They made me afraid to eat at all, and caused me to start eliminating things from my diet.

I am so happy that I came across this video. I have been experiencing all of these symptoms. I was so confused because I was a mainly plant based. Everyone around me was very confused as I eat very well and I’m very particular. I prayed and fasted with water and smoothies for seven days and the symptoms went away, rest my system. The other day I had a burrito, chips, and a bagel. I was stress eating going to doctors and hospital appointments trying to figure out what these symptoms are and if im ok... as a result all of the symptoms came back in less than 24 hours. I have a strong feeling it was gluten. Now that I know this I’m going to deliberately remove gluten and see what happens

I had a disheartening day. I told the doctor that it was gluten that was affecting my health, and I felt much better without it. But he tried to make it seem like I had psychological issues, along with anxiety and stress, and he said that my symptoms wasn't related to gluten at all. He wanted to make me take antidepressants for the anxiety (that I was not even experiencing after I've stopped gluten). He just thinks it's a placebo effect and the power of suggestion, and he thinks that I can eat anything I want just fine, but he thinks that I just believe that I can't do it because I'm just having anxiety around food (none of this is true though). I left his office with unanswered questions, and feeling worse than before, and heavily misunderstood. But I know the problem is gluten for sure, and not what judgements he made about me. I do feel absolutely and completely better without gluten.

I went in the next morning and I'd left my referral paper at home I had an option to go back home and get it or wait and see a doctor and get another so I saw a doctor and asked if the test could include a gluten test he said yes. When I came back for the blood test results she the nurse stared at the computer screen for 3 minutes without saying anything just staring I snapped her out of it by asking is everything ok? She had to inform me I have Coeliac Disease my results showed the highest count possible she just printed of a couple of pages of information handed them to me,she looked uncomfortable and just wanted me gone.

I have so many of the symptoms you had, like the pain in the arm, and leg, legs feel dead, exhaustion etc. They have no idea what’s wrong with me. I’ve been in and out of the doctors. They are doing a bunch of tests. I already had IBS and cut out dairy. I started cutting out gluten for a few days, and I feel so much better already, not 100% but I know I will if I am struck cutting out gluten and dairy! I’m going to continue to get tested and have them check for gluten intolerance. Again, thank you so much for sharing this video, it helps so much to know I’m not alone in this :)

I inserted an hormonal IUD and everything went even worse (I have a video like yours talking about it too on my channel). Unfortunately, the docs stayed more on the "mental" side, and I never thought of this possibility untill recently where I said I can't take these symptoms related to my guts anymore and that's how I came accross your video and I have literally everything you said. I've been only eating liquids for the last 2 days and already saw am improvement (especially cause I couldn't go to the loo anymore), so first thing on Monday I will contact my GP and ask for a gluten/celiac/lactose intolerance test. Thank you very much for sharing your story. Sending you love

Hi Lena, i have the same - but I read that sugar sensitivity can be caused by having eaten gluten for too long, which can destroy your intestinal lining which absorbs carbohydrates. Keto diet worked for me and paleo diet also. My new therapist says if I avoid gluten and take vitamin supplements I should be able to heal the intestines and be able to eat everything except for gluten. Good luck!

I have migraines and recently diagnosed ibs but it was the dizziness and ground moving and loss of directions that made me feel like I was losing my mind that motivated me to see an ENT and getting a proper diagnosis of vestibular migraine that is treatable with a low fodmap diet. I’m only 3 weeks in and can’t believe the difference it’s made. I feel like you that I don’t ever want to try the foods like gluten and dairy in case they trigger that horrible mess all over again. Thank you for posting this - it is a shame that not many doctors are very open to the idea that gluten might be causing issues to so many people. My niece and nephew are both gluten, dairy and soya intolerant but it never occurred to me until recently that my IBS was made worse due to gluten. I tested negative for Coeliac but decided to try gluten free to see if that would help - and it has to some extent and I have stabilised my IBS-D after taking some soluble fibre supplements.
What amazed me though were the other “side effects” of no gluten. After about 4 days I realised I hadn’t had a headache in 2 days - and I am 50 and have had a headache every single day for 35 years! My joint pain is better, I have more energy, I feel more cheerful and I even think I can see more colourfully (if that makes any sense!). These things are not in my imagination because they are not the benefits that I was actually seeking.
You have my sympathies with migraine - especially so often - I have aura migraines that are horrible if I eat bananas or pear drops (I think it’s either the pear/banana essence in them or else the colouring) but of course that is so specific that it’s relatively easy to avoid.

As soon as I stopped gluten and minimized dairy, within 5 days the change was drastic. Normal feeling for the first time in over 4 years. Like you, I still have a hard time believing it. I will never touch gluten again! Doctors really need to start recognizing this and studying it. I saw 5 different GI doctors, had multiple CT scans and tests, and was in constant pain and depression. It took a desperate visit to a nutritionist to suggest trying gluten free. I am now normal and healthy again! So thankful!

Hi Marie! Thank you so so much for sharing your powerful story! I use to love eating seeded brown bread rolls with organic peanut butter, drink organic raw milk, and enjoy sourdough breads with yummy jams! I am going to make a very, very long story short! I can absolutely relate to the feeling of poisoned explosive migraines, coupled to mouth ulcers, then also sporadic joint pain and dermatitis on my face... I decided at a stage to cut largely bread and Marmite out as these were probably my greatest offenders! My doctor finally sent me for a celiac test once he saw the dermatitis on my face! The test came back negative.. I then started eating bread again thinking gluten cannot be the problem, and literally 1.5 hours later was man-down with a migraine again! My doctor then sent me for a celiac gene test, and it came back positive HLA DQ2.2 and he asked me to cut out whet, rye, barley and even oats for a while. The dermatitis that looked like blisters, scars and warts simply dried up and faded away, and the migraines are now more low grade headaches! I however, have now discovered that both A1 & A2 cows milk products are sadly a problem for me, as it seems to "mimic" the previous symptoms I had with gluten. My symptoms have largely cleared up since removing gluten!

Second I stopped all caffeine and soda. Still have the diarrhea. Next I cut out all sugar. During the past month I had a Colonoscopy and Endiscopy .
I find out the results tomorrow. The diarrhea has decreased some but I'm working with my Doctor on a solution.
I had prior colon surgery which had started this problem. Before it I didn't have a problem.
I don't think in the other years after the surgery did I tell how bad it was to my doctor, so thats my fault. But now she is great and so helpful.
So I should find out tomorrow if I have Celiac disease and or thyroid problems as well.

I've recently been diagnosed from a biopsy in July with being gluten intolerant since I'm now experiencing severe skin issues but hearing you speak of the migraines/auroras, vision problems now make me believe that these symptoms very well could be because of gluten and dairy all along. I've often would get the blurred vision in my left eye noticeably and it would also include me sitting in a state of confusion as well as getting a weird tingle and numbness feeling in my fingers. lately walking for a good period of time has been seeming challenging strength wise. I'm so glad I've come across this video because I've reached a point where it's been mentally and physically draining. I'm suppose to be tested for Celiac soon so unfortunately they're having me eat a normal diet so I have to deal with the issues for now. But thank you so much for sharing this

Oh wow, my symptoms are pretty much the same as yours. Electric shock pain is the worst. Currently a week off gluten and dairy and still feeling ropey but at least the shock pains have gone. Thanks for this video!

@@marieaustin10 Thank you! I saw a neurologist yesterday who isn't convinced I'm intolerant to gluten/dairy and suspects it may be a placebo effect. Who knows, but at least a paleo diet is relieving my symptoms. :)

Ooh, just one more thing (I sounds like Columbo!) The neurologist scribbled on a piece of paper which I found in my bag yesterday. It's a pretty weird way of giving someone a diagnosis, but it looks like he thinks I have Functional Neurological Disorder. Again, he wasn't convinced of a correlation with food, but it might be worth you having a look at neurosymptoms.org/ as our symptoms are very similar. Good luck!

I have to tell you your story is similar to mine similar health issues including severe hip arthritis pain which basically improved 90% when I went off gluten !!

I just did a blood test igg for food sensitivity. I had a slight sensitivity to gluten but my dairy and yeast was high. Somehow they are connected. I don't really have a lot of symptoms except some gut issues and tired. I did the testing to see if I had any sensitivity to things just to stay away from them. Thank you for sharing your story and trying to help others.

Can you consider making a video about how you avoid gluten and make sure it doesn't creep in if you're eating out at a restaurant or at someone else's home?

I cut out gluten about five months ago from just feeling "off" it has helped so much. But what I've noticed is if I have any gluten at all I get a migraine for a week. The symptoms are definitely not hidden any longer. I will never eat gluten again as long as I can avoid it. These symptoms are terrible and I'm glad you found out what is wrong with you. You said you think you have celiac but your test came back negative. I went to a nutritionist and she said they haven't update the testing for it in over 30 years. So any small amount won't be detected. You may still have it so try your best to avoid those foods. Best of luck from Chicago:)

It's shocking how many people get migraines from Gluten Intolerance!! Yet doctors never suspect gluten as their cause!
      I didn't realise the test was so outdated... It's a shame :/
Yeah... I haven't eaten any gluten in over 2 years now... And I feel great! :D
I'm so glad you discovered the cause for your migraines and have learned to avoid them now! :)

It is awesome that you are feeling better, I really am, but I have a few questions.
1-Are you leaving your life as if you were a Celiac ?
2- How are you dealing with the cross-contaminated foods?

    • @britt4032
      @britt4032 4 года назад +1

@@rankxy9767 yes I basically live my life completely gluten free like an allergy. I mostly make majority of my meals myself and check ingredients often. I think it's easy for me since I've always been allergic to dairy that im used to checking before eating.

Hello Marie I think you were very brave to tell what had happened to you. I have been a Gluten and Lactose tolerent person for going on 5 years now. I started being covered with very paiful blisters on my arms and buttocks. I was in agony and had trouble sleeping and those blisters were not small and very painful. When I finally did get to see a skin specialist he was shocked because he said he had never seen anything like it. He took loads of blood tests and nothing showed up from them. Then he decided to take a biopsy and that is when the results said I had a gluten and lactose problem. I had all the symptoms you mentioned but the one that worried me the most was the affect it had on my nervous system. I would wake up in the night shaking as though I had a shock. I am quite a bit older than you and the doctor told me that I would have to avoid wheat and proper milk for the rest of my life. I use lactose free milk but I can handle eggs and porridge oats and sometimes I even have corn flakes. I do not eat any food at all from tins because they are also not gluten free. I have one banana a day which is a good help but my favourite foods that I loved are long forgotten about now. Until I was diagnosed I kept away from everybody because I did not know if it was catching or not, especially when the blisters were weeping. I also eat loads of fresh tomatos which also seem to keep it under control. I also take 1 tablet a day so I can digest what I eat as I was unable to do so before the diagnoses. I have met people who have had children as young as 6 months old with this disease and almost lost them because they could not even have milk till a biopsy was taken. It is a dangerous disease and I have heard of people dying because of gluten and lactose tolerence. Take care.

THANK YOU. i was vegetarian and vegan for 8 years. felt so healthy and had no issues. i began the diet because i had digestive issues. i got over the diet last year and started eating meat, dairy, processed foods, baked goods, etc etc. Since i've reintroduced all those foods again, I've had terrible migraines, digestive issues, and i didn't realize it til you said it, but i get that walking on water/dizzy feeling ALL THE TIME. I'M SO DONE WITH THIS. my new diet will consist of mostly whole foods, fish, *sometimes* chicken, no dairy, and no gluten. Thankful for your video this has been confirmation to me. Hope you've been healthy and happy. God is good !

I went through similar things. Plus also a gluten rash. A doctor on the radio said gluten is bad for everyone.
Luckily I stop eating gluten And everything was healed. It was a total coincidence
