Just got to have time to catch up on Elmo’s latest Betong episode ( together with Danny ). I thought it is a fruitful trip covering those major visitors spots and unique street food and kopitiams. The fish maw dish looks so inviting and tasty. Guessed it’s an adventurous try of Yau Char Kwai dipped in kayen ( coconut egg jam ) and this is also the first time I’m seeing how it’s served. Yatt Lau ! Mou Tak Deng ! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽 I would agree that the town is slower ( as compared to some other Southern Thai towns ) but it has its own unique pace and attractions. Thank you for renewing us with this Betong episode with its own unique experience!!! 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
One of the main drawback compare to Hatyai is the very limited modes of transport to Betong... Hatyai we can travel by train, air, van, bus, car, etc... tour agency provide daily minivan from Penang to Betong?
Missed betong very much 4 yrs never go there,actually you can say betong is my first choice compare to hatyai,notice a lot of new stall has branch out,is it still slow moving n hope a lot of new tourist spots,night life is it still good a lot of chunkokmui.n the beer is it still rm3.80/4.00 skol big bottles n karoake/club,two of my elder bros n friend alway love betong,any short holiday sure go roughly every mknth just for RNR max 3 day also boh kau.heard a lot of our indian also goes there now ?great adventure Elmo lee, Thailand is still my favorite destination got friend n kaki there,will always give us the best spot to stay n makan places ,hope they still around n most already 70++,places is always there,but people one by one gone.keep it up HEALTHY,WEALTHY N WISE.
