Hello! I became a fan of Finfin very recently, and your channel is fascinating! Would you be willing to make a video comparing sounds male vs female contactees make? I can't seem to find any online, and I am curious to learn how female contactees sound. I've heard they get less scary sounds. (I still do not understand why I need two sounds to scare Finfin with haha)
@@clerk427 Following this comment, I have tried the last few days to try and run a early version of finfin (the ones with the gendered sounds) to no avail. Despite my amount of discs, I can only emulate the game now, on a Macbook, which is a feat in itself. To the best that I remember, the beeps that denote a male vs female sound are identical and aren't very fascinating, but these are only used in versions of the game that include 3, 4, and 5 world releases (areas of the game). I have only been successful emulating the game with a 6 world release, which does not use gendered sounds but instead a set of sounds that finfin himself will make with different meanings, and no scary sound. This is a good idea! And once I am in a place to run my 3 world discs I may come back this comment. Apologies!
