Most producers do not normally appreciate this song after hearing it the first time. One needs to know that this song is an anthem for celebrating one's individuality, but being able to make it as a group. In addition, everything that amazed you is done by the members.
Pablo, the leader, wrote the lyrics and is also one of the 4 producers of this song.
Stell, the main vocalist, choreographed along with Tank Bautista the dance.
Justin, the youngest and a vocalist, directed the music video.
Ken and Josh also had their inputs on the song and mv.

As you are vocal coaches, you would probably enjoy their ballads which highlights not only their vocal talents, but also their harmonization skills, Tilaluha, Hanggang Sa Huli, MAPA (w/c u may have already reacted to), and Nyebe come to mind. I would recommend Hanggang Sa Huli to start with. There is an official MV w/c has subtitles, but one of my early favorites was their live performance on TM Pusuan ( ruclips.net/video/FDX11gPjI8I/видео.html ). They also did a WishBus performance of this as well as a collaboration with Regine Velasquez (Legendary Philippine Diva).

Since you are both vocal coaches, I think you will appreciate their ballads more. You can check their "Mapa", "Hanggang sa Huli" and "Tilaluha" Wish bus performances to have a clear take on their vocals.
I'm suprised you guys liked it :) , because other reactors don't really like it 😁, however this song makes sense if you continue reacting to thier other songs. WHAT? is their introductory song and showcasing the boys vocal strength. If you want to see more of them i suggest their WISH BUS performances tittled BAZING , WYAT, MANA and MAPA. TILALUHA in ROUND Festival is also great. Enjoy :)
I think its because a lot of things are going on but this is a bop song to me anyway.Its so different from any group Kpop or not. It got a very distinct vibe and beat

So love your reactions on this. What MV is what introduced me to SB19 and from then on the rest was history. I was grinning when you mentioned the producer, director and the dance moves because it is all done by the members. The producer of the music is Pablo (leader of SB19, he also composed the song) in collaboration with Simon Servida. The concept of their MV is done by the youngest member, Justin - he is the creative director of the group. The choreography is done by Stell, the member with the heavenly voice. There is a 5 part behind the scenes of the Making of What. Maybe you should try reacting to that or watch it on your own time. For a live performance of What, I would recommend their What performance on Wish Music Awards 2022 or The Korean Round Festival.

That was fun to watch, I enjoyed 'What?' all over again because of your fresh take on it. If you have time, even if you don't make an RV for it, you should really check out their docu series about the making of 'What?' that they have on their channel, or Simon Servida's vlogs on how he helped produce this track (and the Pagsibol EP) with the boys. So fun to see artists creating their craft from scratch, and knowing exactly what they want. Their creative juices, especially Pablo, are just overflowing.

The best thing about their group is that they produce their own songs. Pablo the leader of the group mostly composes their songs and one of the rapper/singer. Stell is the main choreographer aside from being the main vocalist. Ken also choreographs, raps and can compose songs just like Pablo. Justin aside from being a vocalist is also the group's creative director. Josh is the main rapper of the group.

Please do more content of sb19. These boys are very talented individuals. Also one of the creative director of the MV is Justin (youngest one), one of the choreographers is Stell (The main vocalist), one of the producer of the song is Pablo (The leader of the group). All of their works are collaborative effort and are mainly done by them. Which made me a fan of them. You can see this in the behind the scenes video of this MV.
Also, you can check out their Ballad songs and most importantly their live vocals while performing or in the WISHBUS because they are literally good performers and singers. More power!

This is definitely hard to perform live esp with the hard core choreo. But totally a treat for the audience. By the way they an pull this off so well live. I must say the experience is better live and they even perform more songs with this during concert, some ballad and dance songs. They have another level stamina.
