I feel like an experiment of some kind. I've worked on the 4th Way, by myself, intermittently, for 45 years, despite the admonition that it can't be done authentically...alone. From your conversation, I sort of hear the same thing, culminating in Teds comment that "the leap into the holy father was just asking too much of secular minds."
Or maybe not. Ted refers to the doing of the "work", as the jumping off point to the mystical." Peter mentions the "purification of the emotional center." I think that doing the work the right way, just naturally opens one up to the divine, without consciously searching for it. I don't think it requires understanding the possibly esoteric meaning of the gospels at all.
My hunch is that god is infinite, and that will carry the day, from start to finish.

It is a journey isn’t it?! It is a very personal and organic journey of return...even though I’ve had human signposts like Ashanin and Amis I have had to rely on what Ouspensky was so fascinated with: a sense of remembrance (eternal recurrence)...certain books and people seem familiar to me, comforting to me...you are a seeker who obviously has a humble conscience regarding your journey...if you’d like to correspond with me you can contact me at peterdhaskins@yahoo.com
      Blessings

@@esotericcircle4364 Thanks Peter, for the opportunity to communicate privately. That is just golden. You have a fine mind, and I'd like to mine it. There are so many things I would like to ask you.
But just to respond to the above...yes, indeed, it is a wild and crazy personal journey through what often seems like a waking nightmare, for people in the wrong place at the wrong time, in our long history of violence.
My hunch is that reconciliation is the other side of the coin, but it's the ultimate challenge, and mystery.

I too started with the 4th Way about 45 years ago, after a fairly passive Church of England upbringing followed by about two years with Jehovah's witnesses. It is an Experiment. Maybe we can all get together online or something?

My other comment was not criticism, just something from my memory. Long ago I had heard that Rodney Collin had died in South America and wherever I read that it stated that he thought he could fly and when he jumped from somewhere he fell to his death. I don't know about that, it's just what I read. A few years ago I visited a friend in Peru and he took me to Cusco. While walking around the town square I came across a plaque that said here is where Rodney Collin fell from a high ledge of the cathedral. It said "Aqui su vida Rodney Collin Para Proyectar La Armonia Mayo De 3 1956." I had no idea that he died there, I just happened to come upon it.

Amazing insight and great to see the comments. I've been trying to merge together several sources of eternal wisdom, primarily in my mind. Is there an online group? I have come across some via Facebook and Zoom which are quite helpful.

Tertium Organum was written before Ouspensky met Gurdjieff. G told Ouspensky that if Ouspensky understood what he had written, then G would sit at his feet and learn from him.

Thanks for another meaningful video ☀️, I’m really interested in knowing and understanding in depth more about esoteric Christianity. Is there a way I can contact you directly for a few exchanges?
    Thanks. Lovey day to you!

Did anyone discuss the theosophical claims of the gnosis books with Saint Passios? That is the rub in a lot of these works. The practical teaching is great but why did they believe in stuff like say G's holy sun absolute? What do you do with the theosophy?

There's a lot more in Mouravieff's Gnosis than meets the eye. Don't just read it, study it.

    • @esotericcircle4364

Reading Mouravieff helped change my entire cosmology…let alone how I practiced Christianity and see Christ…how does it impact you?

@@esotericcircle4364 It set my course. I'm certain that he's disclosed the complete core teaching. He's very much underappreciated. Most wrongly view Gnosis as an interesting or curious addition to another teaching, as they cherry-pick only the sections that give them comfort and confirmation.
