I got the 2s pros and have not had an issue with them. They dont slide and you get used to the bulk after a couple of ice sessions.

Ordered these in xl on sale and got a bit worried after watching your video, as i was using your basic bauer nsx size L. But no, fits perfectly for me( i suppose i have big arms :D). Just need to get use to the bulk

I just placed mine on the floor with the curve placed off to the side and stood on them. They now sit flat. As far as still being in the way of my gloves I'm yet to test that out

Have you tried the 2x pro shin guards at all? and did you ever try the 2s pro shin guards in anyway whether just test fitting or actually test usage wise?
I know your a big super tacks fan but what are your thoughts on the above shin guards?
I wear 17" shinnies over the tongue and cant decide between the two bauer shins... Ive tried the 2s pros on in store and they feel nice, really like the 3piece design and of course the poron xrd... real shame to see bauer move away from it but my one gripe with the 2s pros is the calf strap system... similarly to your experience with the elbows I wasnt able to get as tight/snug fit with the calf strap as id like... but overall really liked them.
with my large shin pad size, I really like the idea of saving weight with the vapor 2x pros and its nice to see curv featured in the vapor shinnies too and just like your experience with the 2x pro elbow guards... bauer seems to have improve the wrap fit largely over the 2s pro series... the anchor calf strap system seems to really secure the calf foams and curv down (from photos ive seen and reviews suggest the snug and secure fit is one of the best features)
Unfortunately there not in stock right now at any of my local hockey shops, might be somethign to that...
So curious what your thoughts are on the 2xpro shin pads? I trust your opinions over a random reviews...
so if you had to choose between the 2x pro shins or 2s pro shins which would you choose? and why? and whats your opinions of the fit systems of the 2x pro shins vs the 2s pro shins...
Basically im asking the same type of vs. review you did of the two elbow pads but comparing the shins instead... would love if you could make a vid review on the matter but ive came across great deals on the 2xpro shins and 2spro shins currently so any quick insight you could give me would be greatly appreciated...
lastly, I was 100% settled on buying the 2s pros as there on great clearance prices right now but the more ive looked into the 2x pros im now heavily leaning towards them and again I can currently get em at a great price offering... as a tall skinny guy one of my shin pad issues is current length and secure fit... Im really hoping the 2x pro will give my a more optimum fit but since im planning on ordering online without test fitting first your thoughts would be vary helpful.

I've never even picked up the 2X Pro shin guards and barely looked at the 2S Pro so I can't really say much on these. They haven't interested me because from what I have seen they haven't been close to replacing my Ultra Tacks. So I can't really help with this sorry.

You aren't really the body type intended for the supreme lineup. Vapor elbows contour to your arm, the supreme forearm shell doesn't overlap like the vapor and is designed for the larger arms of power-over-agility skaters.

Ah yes, the guy who wears full Tacks is clearly not the target for Supreme 🤦‍♂️

Normally I'd agree with you, but your forearm/bicep shape (despite you being a relatively tall dude) screams Vapor with the much tighter forearm guard. I'm more or less a supreme guy by body proportions, but I still go with vapor shins because those have the best fit for my leg volume/length. Not trying to start anything, just something I noticed on my pair. Without the forearm muscle bump that dudes with more stocky arms have, the forearm guard doesn't want to sit right and that negative space can allow it it slip if you forget to tighten it up.

Use a heat gun on the Curv and you can adjust how flat or concave it is.

Not really, my issue is how the curv sits on top of other pieces of padding, the strapping would have to change to make it work the way I would want it too.
Plus having to modify the pads to work "right" is a poor design.

@@HockeyReviews I don't think I've ever owned any piece of gear that I haven't had to modify in some manner to fit me exactly as I expect. Not even any of my custom ordered items.

try mildly heating the composite w a hair dryer and forming it better

Like what I said to the other suggestion for this. It wouldn't change the connection points and still cause either overlap or a gap which won't allow it to sit flush on my arm.
