Hot air passing over an evaporator coil brings the temp of the air down to its dew point , which at that moment pulls the moisture out allowing dry cooler air to continue on in air handlers to reach the comfort zones designated .
So the air is conditioned 😳
    / condition air
So the process we call air-conditioning.
As an Hvac-r installer , ive tried to explain this many ways to the new guys , but have just said in the end the coil removes heat / in the absence of heat there is cold 🥶

Yes, in this trade we're professional movers. We move heat around. We either add heat or remove heat from the building using refrigerants or with water-based systems like chilled water and heating hot water. You're right cooling is just the science of removing or moving heat from one medium to another. The heat is never lost, it's just moved from one location to another. Welcome to the heat moving business. :)

What is Apparatus dew point temperature and bypass factor ??

apparatus Dew Point (ADP) is the theoretical temperature at which air leaving the cooling coil would be completely saturated (100% relative humidity) and reach dew point, meaning all the moisture in the air would begin to condense out. The Bypass Factor represents the proportion of air that "bypasses" the cooling coil without being fully cooled or dehumidified. Essentially, it quantifies the efficiency of the coil in cooling all the air that passes through it.
