I visited the Louvre in September and spent 4 hours here and was still not able to explore every room because of how large it was! I hope to go back in the future to dedicate even more time to looking at these magnificent works of art. Thank you for the video!
You’re welcome! Yes it is massive and full of gems. I’m going back there to film more of the Louvre that I didn’t do on this trip. What were your favourite pieces or rooms you saw at The Louvre?
@@TheWalkingCameraChannel Looking forward to more Louvre videos! My favorite was the painting called "Gabrielle d’Estrées and one of her sisters" it made me laugh so much :)
You’re welcome! It’s well worth going! Get a map as it is massive! You have to plan your plan if you want to see the famous pieces I highlighted at the beginning of the video. The route in this video is best. Also I have a members only video of what entrance you can go to avoid the massive queues and walk straight in.
Great for someone who most likely will not ever visit the Louvre. The only offputting thing about it would be the crowds (take it that it's like that all the time). And, as any art lover knows, the pictures will do, where an in-person experience can't be had (the whole Art Book Industry depends on that reality).
Yeah it’s the reputation of the painting! There are so many other epic paintings in that room that get ignored because of the fame of the Mona Lisa! The painting opposite The Wedding at Cana is far more impressive in my opinion.
Hi The Walking Camera! First of all you make amazing videos, keep it up! My name is Camila and I'm from the Argentinian news agency LANA. We are doing a report about the Mona Lisa, and we want to ask you if we can use a few seconds of your video (with the correct credit/source of The Walking Camera as appropriate, and a link to your channel). Thanks in advance and please keep up the amazing videos!!! Big hugs!
Hi Camila, thanks for the kind words. Yes you can use a few seconds from the video with credit/score and the link to my channel. Could you send me the link to your report also please?

Such great work. The people...not so much.

Geez!! The Mona Lisa painting is in such a small frame. I thought it would be in a much larger one.

Lindo lugar maravilloso

@@TheWalkingCameraChannel than you so much! you're very kind! Of course I will :)
كلمة الحق دايما بتزعل
The most important painting at the Louvre is the wedding of Jesus and Mary Magdalene not the Mona Lisa.
Why?
