I jumped fwd a few times. Did I miss the part ya checked if the door was locked or not? Or was that in the size up part? (-:
~ ha, don't mind me, I was only 32 years on a bucket brigade for the chem plant I worker at. ..although many of us passed FF1 at a Wi. Tech school.
~~ We had steel doors on training buildings. Only once a door became stuck due to expansion. (we had a few cookers)
Too funny, some genius thought of hitting the door with water spray and it became free opening again.

with 32 years on you should know that if you check to see if it is unlocked you risk not getting to break it! :)
      thanks a ton for watching

@@LFAnon lol, ya got me there.
Early fun training on my end at WCTC in Wi. was before Bhopal disaster.
After dat, instructors couldn't use fuel oil for fire incidents. In or outside.
Inside we'd come out fuzzy black.
eep, now some concern of A trip F we played in.
~~ Anything past entry was can't see hand in face, and if let go of partner even to cure a line kink instructors would grab them/gone. ~ Worst feeling ever was yelling to pitch as black room...really named Joe..on knees, oh fark they took him because we released. ..scary reality shout to dark as eyed closed.
The 3 day instructors loved us, and prolly why early demise of their 4 story+ tower.
Damn straight kinda lucky where peeps were during evolution. We caused and actual 3' cement spalling blow out.
~ Three sided/moveable walls not much made sense but rules.
..even the slightest beam of light from washouts/blocks knocked a bit would slow breaths..'n kinda got it.
blah blah, 1982 + a tad was tall rubber boots and coat with collar.
And the old MSA steel air tanks/system.
I best not babble more. Intense or not it wasn't real except my low air bell failed at exit/sucked mask. Of course checked, I was anal.

A low cost alternative to an aluminum wedge is railroad spikes. If you can aquire some and grind a point they work great. I’ve used the aluminum wedges and they work great, but I have a hard time keeping up with them, and replacing aluminum wedges gets expensive.

Check out my other video on the 'poorman's halligan'
I carry it daily in the fire service and it will take care of 90% of commercial and 99% of residential doors when partnered with a metal wedge. Will only set you back $100 bucks and is much easier to carry than a full size halli.
