I want to be a kid again so badly. A life before reality had set it. Before everything went wrong. When my biggest concerns were figuring out what exactly was in the presents under the tree. When my father was still around and I could look in the kitchen and see him with my mom. My sister would still be with us and she’d probably be in her room obsessing over her hair like always. I just hope I can make myself happy this year, or the next.

I’ve seen it so many times, but it’s just something we don’t talk about openly. I saw my mom deal with it when I was younger, I have dealt with it myself, and I’ve seen friends around me. It’s normal and I know it sucks and can be confusing… especially when you feel like you shouldn’t be depressed. I hope you start feeling better friend!
