Jamar, I'm impressed by Jo Milano fragrances, it's definitely a house that is doing it's best to make high quality inspirations of great Niche fragrances.
I think all of the previous reviewers made the assumption that Hawas Black was an interpretation of Absolu Aventus. Due to the bottle being black. So, pretty much the community followed suit with that assumption, without actually smelling it. Then when they got their noses on it, they were surprised/upset that it didn't resemble Absolu once smelled. The accords breakdown doesn't even resemble Absolu, that alone should've told them something. Although I know that you can basically achieve similar scent profiles with different accords. I have Hawas Black and Precieux 1. Wasn't aware of the Jo Malone one. I had an earlier batch of Hacivat. I didn't care for the scent profile. It was pure pineapple juice that you could drink and oakmoss off of my skin. The pineapple was that real on me. Beast mode fa'sho, but not in my wheelhouse at the time. I don't really agree that it's a Aventus inspired fragrance tbh. Just because it has pineapple, it's totally different. I had it earlier in my fragrance journey, one of my first niche along with A'ni. I was coming from cheaper designer fragrances and transitioning to higher priced designers and stepping into niche. So my exposure had been limited up until that point. I sold it after a week, I wanna say. I prefer the Hawas Black to Hacivat. I'm my opinion, it has a Aventus/Club de Nuit type opening with the Hacivat mid thru drydown. With the oakmoss for me, being toned waaay down. I haven't smelled Absolu Aventus to compare to Precieux 1. But after having Precieux 1 since release, I'm still tryna figure out if I'm a fan or not. Off of my skin, too spicy from the pink pepper. The pink pepper has died down a bit during maceration. But it's still prominent throughout the life of the fragrance. I haven't given it a full wearing yet. I have only done test sprays here and there to see how it changes. Just don't think I'd enjoy constantly spelling that pink pepper for 10+ plus hours. Keep up the great work bruh... Truly appreciated!
Have high roller on my list to grab next....have Wildcard and can't stop wearing it. I think Jo Milano making the ace of spades collection parfum concentration is a big part of why they're so good. Great review!
I have done several comparisons on my page and will do more. First off dope review. You really take your time and break down it all. My personal experience is I love the creed adventus dna profile, but I have tested absolu adventus several days and I can barely get 4 hours off my skin and that’s lotions hydrated and all. Hawas black is flat out a creed adventus dna profile. No disputes, and as it may smell like hicivat or close it’s a dna of adventus without question. I see reviewers doing is punishing hawas black because they “assumed” it was a inspiration of absolu adventus and you cannot judge the true character of a fragrance until you get it let it settle and spend time with it day and night etc etc. just my take on it
Great content as usual Jamarr. Definitely one of the BEST reviewers out here especially in terms of comparing different fragrances. Keep up the great work man! SOTD Royal Chariot Attar from Dua. Smells like Layton on steroids!
Great video! I don't have the jo milano but I do have the precioux and I love it! If you wanna do a best vanilla battle sehr, Tarik, and maybe one other fragrance would be cool.
On my skin, the absolu became too similar to Sauvage elixir for me to pull the trigger. Might as well layer an Aventus/clone with Sauvage elixir and avoid splashing that amount of cash.
@@ScentsIRL I have the Alexandria version. I like it better than Precieux 1. It isn't as loud as Precieux 1. Maybe not as rich, isn't synthetic smelling or an alcohol blast from the initial sprays. A little softer, but I'm my opinion, it's better for me. Of course scent is subjective, so your tastes may be different than mine. Longevity is pretty good for the profile, about 8 hours plus on me! Plus I was catching whiffs after that. I had a lady compliment me for smelling good from about 5' away. It was about an hour in after first spraying....
@@ScentsIRL I can't speak on that bruh. Samples too high for Absolu to wanna consider just for comparison reasons. Especially for me, when I wouldn't buy a full bottle if I liked it anyway due to it's price point!
I noticed that that he never own a full bottle of the real deal he always has a ml when he doing to comparison. Just wondering how much of wearing he use of the real deal to truly compare. Just wondering
Rasasi hawas black is about maybe 5 minutes of a dark sweet fruit and the rest of the fragrance is a oakmoss and patchouli bomb !!!! It's a even dirtier version of nishane hacivat, which honestly isn't one of the easiest fragrance to pull off " the pineapple in that fragrance is very sharp and bitter and eventually turns into a very soily fragrance.
@@jamarr911 My take on Rasasi Hawas Black: Rasasi Hawas Black is straight up Hacivat. Starts off fruity-citrusy. (Pineapple/bergamot/grapefruit) It last for 25-30 minutes. Then it drys down to patchouli/oakmoss/ woods. Very mossy!! This is a strong fragrance. Layer it with Qaed Al Fursan or Rave Now. It weakens that heavy mossy scent and smells better. Not a love but a like at this time. I wish Rasasi Hawas Black was a dupe of Aventus Absolu.

What about nitro intense?
Was this fresh out the mailbox or after maceration??
Great question

Yo... Have you smelled Alexandria fragrances verison? How close is that one to the OG?
