I enjoyed this video a great deal. I think it is going to be my next attempt at painting. I keep purchasing supplies for painting and then freak myself out and procrastinate starting the painting!
Love the look of these trees! Thank you for sharing... I really Loire the monochromatic color of these trees then the pop of color. You've used the teal color I'd love to use a bright pink or fuchsia for a grand-girls room! 😄
theartsherpa Art Sherpa, Nooo! I mean, um, what're you doing here??? I mean.... Okay this is my FIRST time cheating on you with another art instructor, I promise!! It was the trees, man, I couldn't help myself.
I love this so much!! Thank you!! I've been having so much fun painting along with you lately! I can tell you are such a sweet and kind person and you truly help me in more ways than you know 💛💛
Finished both Paris paintings and now I am using my leftover paint for this. I am sure I will be painting this a few times, especially the blue my favorite, but the first one ended up Red since I have some left to use up. By the way, I switched to using your palette on the plates with ziplock bags instead of my made up wet palette. This is so much easier. I did write on the top plate this side up so I don't accidentily store them upside down. LOL Thanks for another great lesson.
I like these, they are simple easy to do. My buddy wants me to do something that includes a window. The idea being you are looking out her window and seeing the landscape or some item. If you could do something like that I would love it.
Thank you! I appreciate your asking. As long as you are creating your own unique version it is fine but I would prefer not to have copies made on other channels. Hope you understand. :)
+Cheryl64014 I do not generally gesso my canvases because they come preprimed. But if you are buying discount canvas it can be helpful to give them an extra coat. Thanks so much for watching!
+Christelle Montrichard Yes they will work great. Fluid acrylics are similar in viscosity to craft paint but have more pigment. You can just add a little water to the basics paint to thin them a bit. Thanks!
I really like you art and I did some of your lesson with great success. I would like to know if you have nature with trees acrylic painting with texture Thanks
What size brushes and sponges should I use if trying this on a 24 × 36, I'm using the pop of turquoise color.? This will be my first painting bigger than a 16 × 20. Doing this for a Christmas gift for my daughter. Should I use a pallet knife instead.?😅 (and it scares me) ? ?
someone gave me some oils paints. and a couple of canvas boards. can i accomplish this beginner tree painting you have done. I would love to start here
+Alen Liew you can use a stiff brush instead (my red oak tree shows how) or a regular brush (my cherry tree shows that). Or you could try tearing up a regular sponge. Just anything with texture should work. Good luck!
So i love this painting but i really feel like not enough time was given to how to get the background - mine just came out looking like gray blobs :/ some tips on how to get that almost fluffy look would have been great... giving up on this one for now
+Velsetta Manzetti sorry to hear that. It sounds like you might be using too much paint in your sponge. Do them with light layers and leave some background color showing through. Hope that helps. I have an older tutorial (Easy Impressionist Trees) that goes into more detail. It might help also.
+Velsetta Sorry I thought you were talking about the background trees. You might try watching my eiffel tower video. I do the background in it the same way. Maybe I explained it better in that one.
Hi Ms. Anderson I would like to ask permission if I can use your work. Don't worry I will use this for educational purpose only. I will use this as my project in Contemporary Arts. Hope you'll agree 😊😊

theartsherpa Art Sherpa, Nooo! I mean, um, what're you doing here??? I mean.... Okay this is my FIRST time cheating on you with another art instructor, I promise!! It was the trees, man, I couldn't help myself.

+Diana ciobanu Thanks!
I love your page and projections and videos!!! So you load all your colors on your pallet first?
+Remo Gunz Thank you. Yes I usually put out all the colors I will need and keep them damp by spraying with water.
Thank you ;)
I like that you talk and instruct. So tired of watching people do time lapse or silent art videos. ?There's no value in them.
Thank you for the wonderful work! I wanted to know if I can put on my channel the process of creating a similar picture in this style?)
Thank you! I appreciate your asking. As long as you are creating your own unique version it is fine but I would prefer not to have copies made on other channels. Hope you understand. :)
lovely!!! did you put anything on the canvas before painting? like guesso?
+Donna L no my canvas came pre-gessoed
Thanks for sharing, what Size is your canvas
❤️
+Shadia Shawly :)
Thank you for sharing a great tutorial!
(Did you gesso your canvas first?)
+Cheryl64014 I do not generally gesso my canvases because they come preprimed. But if you are buying discount canvas it can be helpful to give them an extra coat. Thanks so much for watching!
No, I thank you. ;) You're a joy to watch!
And thank you for the information on the better grade canvases being pre-primed! :)
CINDY- part 2 will uploaded later tonight. if you go to Angela's fb page, you can see the color choices... ;-)
Still trying to figure out where you use the fluid paints. I know it isn't a big deal but I tend to need to do what you say instead of guessing
I only have Liquitex Basics paints, is that going to work? What's the difference with fluid paints? Thanks!
+Christelle Montrichard Yes they will work great. Fluid acrylics are similar in viscosity to craft paint but have more pigment. You can just add a little water to the basics paint to thin them a bit. Thanks!
Thank you Angela!
beauty
+Ntakadzeni Mulaudzi Thank you!
thank you I used pensils and a brush to do something using ur technique of darkening, it turned out not so bad,
What size/type brush did you use?
+VBukow For the background I use a 1" Flat brush. It is Princeton Summit #12 Bright.
I really like you art and I did some of your lesson with great success.
I would like to know if you have nature with trees acrylic painting with texture
Thanks
+Catarina Stockl I don't have any textural paintings yet. But I plan on doing some palette knife tutorials soon. Thanks!
Hi. Is the sponge supposed to be wet? Thanks :)
I would love to start here
Awesome!
Is the sponge wet or dry?
What sponge is it that you are using here?
I will try this weekend.post u mine. thank you
How if I use other sponge? Because I can't find sea sponge.

+Angela Anderson I'm sorry I'm really confused now, I'm supposed to be using a sponge for the background? You're using a paintbrush in the video
+Velsetta Sorry I thought you were talking about the background trees. You might try watching my eiffel tower video. I do the background in it the same way. Maybe I explained it better in that one.
Love the video I tried it but mine looks so bad😂
Hi Ms. Anderson I would like to ask permission if I can use your work. Don't worry I will use this for educational purpose only. I will use this as my project in Contemporary Arts. Hope you'll agree 😊😊
part 2 is coming up as a private video
?
j'aime bien ce que vous faites .et merci pour le partage. Est ce que je peux suggérer des cours d'initiation à l'aquarelle
why not a painters knife rather than the card? just curious... beautiful painting!
should have waited til the end before commenting lol
Now do this with a brush.
Yy
