- Faith Murunga survived death by a whisker while working as a house help in Saudi Arabia. She says Saudi Arabia is a death trap and that anyone thinking of working there should first sign their own death certificate before heading there. To make matters worse, she used to spend all her savings home to her husband which upon arrival, she realized the husband used that to marry another woman.
She now lives with a friend after salvaging only a mattress from the house she used to live in with her husband before going to Saudi Arabia.
Were it not for a Kenyan well-wisher living in America who helped her come home, she believes she could not be alive today.

She is a woman who has faced rejection since she was a young girl and all she has been looking for is a sense of belonging and for someone to genuinely love her. Her mother left her, her father remarried. Her step mom rejected her. I hope that there will be psychologist here to really work with her to heal psychologically. She is very intelligent, a smart woman who is willing to work hard for herself and her kids .I pray that she will get the help she needs.

After living in the Diaspora I can confidently say to my fellow Africans the grass is not always greener on the other side. We face discrimination and racism at the expense of making money to elevate our families but it's not worth it. The trauma and oppression endured causes serious problems.

This girl is telling 💯 truth, I went to Dubai house job, and I was working 23hrs only one hr of sleep, no food and if lucky someone another house girl stole food to give you, you stay hungry not knowing what eat.
One day a bunch of women almost killed, by stoning me , when I fell down carrying their baby, I got injured on my leg and my arm, I looked to heaven I I told God am coming home, fortunetly, when the mother run took the baby and left me on the floor, they al asked, is the baby injured, she said no no betcha helwa meaning child is fine, and all kept the stones down one by one.
The Arabs can kill you, and your country Kenya will not look for you.
