It's a common feature of human nature to play with things that can harm you... whether all at once of slowly and subtly. P-Funk was a highly celebrated feature of my adolescence and I recognize that Clinton and his fellow musicians blazed musical trails relevant to 20th century Western culture. I pray that George appreciates the preservation of his life, to this day, as an example of the mercy and patience of God.
Are horn players that expensive? These dudes are chumps. You could find a 20 something on a random corner in NOLA that could play better than these “musicians”. This feels like mockery.
It's time for George to pass the torch and the responsibility for keeping the PFUNK legacy alive to BOOTSY Collins..Then Mr. Collins can clean up the act and fire all of the dead weight including George's family members. This chaos and confusion on stage has destroyed the brand that so many talented former members had built. It is painful to watch this new cast, specifically the front line... BOOTSY please save the legacy and bring the "BOP GUN"..🤘🏾🎼🤘🏾
I hear you! I was a member of the Funk Mob from 79 to 81 and again from 92 to 94. When the funk was fire. Most of the major players were there. Most of the legends have either retired or expired. What you see here are the leftovers and the kids and grand kids.
The go-go beat @51:30 is the only redeeming part of the show. The crowd response and even the band got into dat groove😊 GO-GO just goes and goes and goes sorta like the FuNk used to.....
George Clinton ,overstayed his welcome ,u can tell they ain't got no money behind them ,let anybody in the freaking band ,Eddie,Bernie ,turning over on there graves, also along with Gary , and the rest of the legendary band , commercial bullshit !!

@@playze88 Thanks for the info...Last question was Tony Thomas one of the drummers for George during the time you were touring with the crew?

Put that one to the floor
Even the best have a bad day...Love George and the P-Funk but to me, this is not one of his best performances. WTF! a 300 pound man in a g-string.
