Here’s another fact: In the scene where Princess Fiona burped that was real because Cameron Diaz who voiced Fiona, actually let out a burp, the filmmakers liked it so much they kept it in.
Shrek and Donkey actually have some of the best chemistry of any animated film. Their banter is genuinely entertaining, even outside of the plot. I'm glad that Mike Myers got the part, although Chris Farley would have been very interesting in the role, I'm sure.
Ya I agree. A Farley Shrek would've been different but entertaining. I think Shrek and Donkey are such a good on screen pairing. Hence the four movies :)

Do you know that some clips of the “i feel good” animation test for the chris farley shrek were found? The first design of shrek war really similar to chris farley, but is a bit creepy, at the time they used frame by frame cgi together with motion capture technology
Fun Fact : Janeane Garofalo was originally cast as princess Fiona but got fired without an explanation and gets replaced with Cameron Diaz and also none of the actors met each other while they recorded their lines separately and John Lithgow was disappointed that he never got meet the other actors

I listened to his original accent and it sounds weird cause it just doesn't suit shreks character so it was wise to give him the Scottish accent
