This looks easy to do.I have made one with the balloon strip and it did not have that organic look. Also I mixed my colors up throughout the garland, however I love more of the same colors in a small cluster. It looks professional. THANK YOU!!

Is it ok to do the garland the night before or will the balloons deflate?
@@BHart-uo1oh you can totally do the balloons the night before. They will not deflate, I usually make my balloon garlands 3-4 days before the party. It just is less stress for me. I hope this helps you.

Thank you so much for your tutorial, I'm a crafty person but never thought about doing this, but after seeing this, gave me the confidence to do a balloon garland for a birthday barbecue for 3 of my granddaughters. I was just going to decorate with a Happy Birthday sign and a few balloons, but now I'm going to make a garland for the patio, they will go crazy about that. I do have a crazy question about blowing the balloons with the electric blower. When trying to blow two balloons up and tying them together do you turn off the machine between each set?
Yay! I’m so excited that this inspired you! So the electric pump only powers on once you put the balloons on the toggle to blow them up. It automatically tunes off once you remove the neck of the balloon from the machine.

Love this video super easy to follow all tehblitrlwntiosnare so helpful, as a newbie thinking of trying to start making garlands i lvoe the alternating sizes but their not overly Huge balloons they all look pretty, I wounder is their aw ay of creating luxury pretty looking garlands but at a budget price so that people will want to buy them for events but yet make enough to covers costs and live on, I'm in Ireland and iv found people max don't like paying a lot of things in general.. I'd like to be able to do garlands for everyone and eve budget.. Even it it was a half arch garland or something love any advise on priceing and how to attsche balloons to shop fronts and businesses outdoors? And indoor without damaging their walls too x
The number one thing I’ve learned in the event business is to know your worth! The ordering, transportation, and set up is all time consuming and honestly the design and setup is also a talent. Charge what you are worth and those are the types of clientele you will attract for future business. Goodluck girl :)
Love this! Could you please tell me how you assemble the small balloons in at the end to fill holes?
Fast forward the video to 4:30 and I explain it there. You just wrap the 260 balloon around a “base” balloon and you can stretch the small clusters in any area that has a hole. I hope that makes sense.
Beautiful 🩷 Definitely inspired!! So did I see you apply adhesive wall hangers? If so, did you attach new 260 balloons to affix it to the wall hangers or did you use the 260 balloons already on the balloons, if that makes sense?
You would double knot a 260 to the hook and then tie the ends together. It would be a connected circle like a rubber band and then you loop that over one of your balloons on the garland

The best video. I feel more confident now to do my daughter's decor. Could you please just tell me the inches you blew the balloons to that is where I mess up? I am not sure how to get them even without the sizer. I purchased one but don't know what sizes I should do for this look
Thank you ! So, I don’t ever use a sizer, I just blow the balloons up normal without them turning into an egg shape ( if you get that shape they are over blown ). I use 11,17, and 5 inch balloons. Just depends on the brand and what they offer. Most high end brands offer only those sizes.

Hi there! Amazing tutorial! I’m assuming these can only be used for indoors mostly right? Do you have any tricks for possibly setting up one of these outside?
Thank you ! These balloons can be used both outside and inside, just make sure you’re using high quality balloons like tuftex or qualatex, they last for weeks. Also, avoid the heat as much as possible. Make the installation as close to party time as possible. Goodluck!

260 or 160's are the straight balloons THAT USE SEE used to make clown hats or swords or animal figures FYI

That just means you want the style of the garland to look natural and flow nicely and not to “put together” or perfect.
Organic style is varying sizes like shown not all the same size like you see on the Even looking columns that may be just different colors but all balloons are same measured size.
where do you get your balloons is there a specific brand you like or can you use any from anywhere like wal smrt target etc. and do you charge extra for transporting or do you ever assemble the garlands on site if its a larger sized garland?
I have used balloons from all over honestly and don’t ever see much of a difference. I charge $30 a foot and I assemble the base in my office or home ( like in the video )and then assemble and add on once I’m on site. If you have to rent a small uhaul for a couple hours I add that on as well. I’m able to fit balloons enough for a 10ft garland in my car most of the time.

I order offline or in store. The bands I like are Tuftex, Betallatex, and Qualatex !

Hi random-ish question. How big is your car? I have a VW golf and I'm a bit worried the entire garland won't fit, so was thinking to make at least half and do the rest at the venue. Also did you put the entire garland directly into your car, or inside a mattress bag?

I have a 4 door sedan and it all fits but It’s tighttttt. I put the balloons in my car in sections and then assemble

So i managed to get mine all in my VW at the weekend! It was tight but i did mine in two sections too, so i could rearrange in car, but at least i know it can be done x
How long did all this take in total between assembling partially at home/office and then at the venue the next day? Also, how do you work it out with the venue where you can hang using command hooks? Finding that lately, many are not allowing command hooks.
A few hours total depending on the size of garland and how it needs to be hung. I haven’t run into any issues using the command hooks anywhere but a good tip is to put painters tape on the wall first and then the command in the tape so it won’t strip the paint off the wall . Hope this helps!

Do you use the matching color of the 260 balloon to the balloons your time together?
Yes, I use one matching color. So if the garland is pink, gold, and white I will use either a white or pink 260. Hope this helps!

The easiest way is to use a 260 balloon and tie around the base of the garland and then the other end to whatever backdrop you have. Or you can use command hooks on the wall!
Hi Carley! About how many 260s did you use for this garland? Including the 260s you used for the clusters. So base plus clusters.
I can’t remember exactly but it would be 1 per cluster and then 1 every 5 -6 large balloons for the base. Just depends how large you are going. A full bag would last you multiple garlands.

Tie one end of a 260 to a cluster and the end to another cluster then wrap them around the larger balloons on the garland. Hope this helps !

It all depends on the brand of balloons you use. I always use high end brands like Tuftex & Qualatex for example and those balloons last blown up for days if not weeks! So you could get started pretty early if you needed to!

260’s is a type of balloon. A long one like people use to do balloon animals. You can get them right from amazon!
When blowing up the small balloons and tying them together…are u tying them each separately and then tying them together or are u blowing them up and immediately tying them to each other and that’s how u keep the air in? Does this make sense ? I can’t tell from the video
I think you’re talking about the “5 clusters? I tie two together and then the third separately and then tie the third to the duo. If you want a cluster of four tie two sets of “5 balloons and then twist them together. Hope this helps !
What do you do to keep all the hair , etc from attaching to the balloons from the static
I transfer the balloons in giant trash bags and then once fully assembled use a lint brush very lightly. If you’re using good quality balloons this shouldn’t be an issue.
Can you make a cleanup video of the balloon arch? If yes please with sound of the popping balloons and not speed popping 😏

I always match one of the garland balloon colors, yes.

It depends on the balloons you use. I use tuftex and they are amazing quality, they last weeks! Cheaper quality balloons can deflate in a day or two, so it just depends .
When you tie 2 balloons together do they have to be rhe same size or can you do the a small and a big one?
They don’t have to be the same ! I normally do one set of two the same size and then one set two different sizes, then twist them together for a set of 4.

I’m not sure off the top of my head but it just depends on how large your garland is. They come in a big bag so you will def have enough. You’ll be able to judge once you get going, normally one every 4-6 balloons.

I normally use a color of one of the balloon colors from the garland just so it blends better. Amazon prime can get you some 260’s quick :)

One other question. Ballon package I bought has 3 sizes, 18", 10" and 5". Would I get same look but downsized? Wish I had 12" but hard find exact color, especially yellows.
Honestly that’s totally fine ! “10 and “12 are so similar. Make a dip of “12 and a duo of one 12” and one “18. Then twist those four balloons together for a set of four. Then add that cluster to a set of 4 all “12 if you can!
Where and what kind of balloons do you buy?
I’ve used balloons from all over but I like ordering from Amazon so I can order multiple sizes and colors to see what I like, and then you are able to return what you don’t decide on. It’s hard to tell the colors online until you se them in person sometimes.
Where did you get your balloons?
Tuftex and Qualatex are my favorite brands. There’s a local store in my town I buy from or order from an online distributor. You can find some on Amazon as well!
How do you prevent popping balloons when transporting? What is the best way to transport?
I don’t do anything special, I’m actually pretty tough with them, but I do use high quality balloons. That’s def the key for them lasting as well. Qualatex and Tuftex are the two I use most , hope this helps!

Hi.. using a 260 to tie it all together which would be the best method to hang this on a wall without messing up paint etc?
Tie a 260 to a command hook, I like the ones w the silver hooks best. Put painters tape on the wall fist, then stick the command hook to the tape. The tape doesn’t lift the paint

I charge $30 a foot and then I’d the client adds on any extra decor ( stars, flowers, etc. ) it’s more depending on cost and labor. I also add more depending on distance from me to the event for transport and gas. Hope this helps.

NOO MY EYES ! Don’t waste your 260 balloons go get ribbon from the dollar tree much cheaper ❗️ and not as harsh on the latex
I’ve used ribbon before but I like the 260’s because they are so much more user friendly :) So many different techniques, I switch it up all the time !
