Looks like the interview was recorded in the year 2005. The initial announcement says Pandit ji was “recently awarded” the Karnataka Ratana award.. this was in 2005.

ONLY INTERVIEW IN KANNADA ... north karnataka people were so neglected by south that Pt ji got only one 30 interview in kannada where as in Marathi and hindi there are so many long interviews
