Just bought this airfield a couple of days ago and it is indeed a wonderful ORBX product and love flying from it. I hope those blocked trees gets fixed soon, it's killing the immersion big time. This morning I made another flight in Switzerland, from LSZX via LSVP and Luzern up into the Gotthardpas with the Flysimware C24R, its an amazing experience in MSFS2024.
Lovely. Your video just gave me a reason for flying over Bern again with the ORBX airport and my favourite sightseeing microlight, the lovely freeware MW6. In 2020 though as I won't be getting my copy of 2024 until the 25th. I realised that this was the first time I had flown the MW6 since getting TrackIR and it was an excellent experience. I often watch a video on RUclips and find myself recreating the flights the content creators had done - such as your flights in the Carribbean using the appropriate addon airports.

Wonderfull work by a developer new to the Orbyx team called Massimiliano Addante. Been to Switzerland a few times in real life and its a beautifull city and a country with wonderfull landscapes and scenery ,i love flying GA aircraft in the sim from Austria (Innsbruck , Zell am see or st Johan etc etc ) to Switzerland or vice versa 😊. Thanks for highlighting this addon 👍😀 Ps. Its a pity we won't be friends 😂😋
What a wonderful video without mentioning the name of that great little plane with the crazy paint job. I did my aerobatic training on this plane many years ago when I stayed five years in South Africa. And I have been a few times in my Mooney to Bern, indeed a great airport quite different from the other two main Swiss airports, Zurich-Kloten and Geneva I flew not more often. Bern is a cozy relatively small place, but well worth a visit. Thnx for highlighting it in this unusual way upside down in the great little plane.

Off topic, but DynamicLOD was just updated to be compatible with MSFS2024. Excited to try it out and hope you make a video about it soon showcasing this!!
Keep a eye on the great add-on from Bijan Habashi: Seasons Enhanced for MSFS2024. He is in the process of fixing the tree situation around this Bern airport, an update can be expected soon.
I'm living in Bern and i fly a lot from this nice little airport. Thanks for hving shown it to the community! But I really hope Asobo will fix those ugly looking trees.
Orbx always has incredible scenery and airport add-ons. What ruins the beautiful immersion for me is as you mentioned, those horrific block trees that are virtually everywhere! I thought they had fixed all that in 2024, but in some areas it’s actually worse than 2020.
Yeah Orbx does an incredible job, this airport is just a work of art. Love the grass strip and the sailplane base especially! And those trees are really unfortunate, I don't know if it's this area of the world but it's not good.

Confirmed the scenery is fixed by Bijan's Seasons Enhanced for MSFS 2024, no more blocked trees anymore, looking wonderful now for me.

It's one of the coolest regional airports I've seen for the sim, the sailplane base is amazing!
I enjoyed this video and the simulated engine out too. A Citabria makes a good glider tow plane. My first glider flight was towed by a Citabria.
I grew up flying gliders out of a grass field, so much fun!

@ I get them everywhere I fly. I’m here in Canada, and I also see some giant trees growing out of the sides of skyscrapers in Toronto lol!
