Instrumentals withstand the test of time from symphonies and classical. instantly know a piece from a few notes. but the power and symbols of words/lyrics sung from the heart and make you feel exactly what the performer or writer is feeling. "one good thing about music, when it hits you feel no pain" lyrics and vocals allow you share a message that instrumentals can't. they allow you tell very specific stories. instrumentals can make the listener come up with their own story, message, emotion, or feeling. it's all magic!!
