Yeah, Super Mario Galaxy is pretty much considered one of the best Mario games of all time, even though I don't really like this game too much myself, I have to say. But I like Super Mario Galaxy 2 much better because it is more diverse and fun to play. But Super Mario Galaxy 1 definitely has a better story than 2. And the music is great in both games.
What, and what? First of all, you have 440k!? I remember when you first started, and didn't even have 10k, it's amazing to see how you're still making content today. Secondly, you've never played mario galaxy? That's a huge surprise seeing as you always used to (and probably still do) make mario videos all the time. I'm surprised I found this channel again after so long, but the videos are still pretty entertaining (well this one is). Also this is a very random thing but you should totally 100% the game for no reason whatsoever (there's a secret lol). I wasn't good at the game when I was younger but after I beat Megaleg on Dolphin (I use the Dolphin emulator with an actual Wii remote), it was a total breeze for the stages. (The difficulty spike hits way later in the game unlike Super Mario Sunshine where the first secret of stage popped up and that felt like a torture chamber since the smooth and open world controls weren't meant for precise platforming while Galaxy always had different planets with different ways to beat them)
Didn't know you finally started playing Mario Galaxy, nice, glad you're overall enjoying it so far! A couple of things: when there are yellow spots on the ground you can shoot them with Star Bits for Coins and yes, Galaxy is the first appearance of the Toad Brigade!

Recently we got the long awaited "Silver update" which brings almost the entirety of the game stages to the table, except the hub, bosses, cutscenes, etc. Maybe give it a try? It is really an amazing fan remaster!
ZXMANY By THE WAY ONCE YOU COLLECT 3 F+GREEN STARS, you will unlock the planet of trials and you will have to do the harder version of loopdeeloop galaxy, loopdeeswoop galexy so be prepared. There R many 1 ups there but it took me atleast 20 tries and I am probably better than you. pls feature me in a video
