  • Big African vipers from the genus Bitis have very potent venoms, huge fangs and they belong to the heaviest vipers in the world. The Gaboon viper and the Rhinoceros viper are secretive species living in forests and woodlands, the Puff adder is a very common species of savannas and semi-desert which bites many people.
