Love the depth of layers. You really know how to tell a story with your music. Love this.

Thanks Lauren - I really appreciate that! One of the basic approaches I generally try to take is to not make it sound like one big drone, but to create "layers of interest" with motion. Going forward, one of the technical/artistic goals I am working on is to have the ability to move beyond the drone when I want to, creating patches the truly move through different chord structures. This is proving a challenge in the modular world but the challenges are what keep me returning to this medium! From a hardware perspective, I am hoping that my new Hermod+ will give me a vehicle for that! Thanks again for your support! 👍

@@scienceroommusic yeah I really noticed that. At one point the drone totally blended in and came back through. Really cool.
I was very interested in the Hermod+. Still am. Can’t wait to hear what you do with it!

thank you! And thanks for subscribing! For this patch I am sequencing with Metropolix. (You might notice a Hermod+ over in the far bottom left corner. It is my newest module and I am still on the learning curve with it, but it does AMAZING things!! )

@scienceroommusic I've not touched a metropolix. I did have Hermod, but couldn't get on with it. I'm sure the + is way better tho. I'm on Hapax now, which I'm pretty pleased with. Tell you what though; I miss Eloquencer.. 😑
