I believe that this person is saying that they have their dads last name on her account but her ID has her husband last name. So it does not match with her account.
That makes more sense. In that case, just submit the KYC application, which will then eventually fail, and then file an appeal that should allow you to clarify the name change.

Right now you have to wait until you turn 18 BUT the core team should also release a way to pass KYC with parental consent at some point, so just wait and if that is released before you turn 18 then that's the way to go.

If it's an ID issued by the government, like a passport or, depending on the country, a driving license, no problem. Otherwise, you'll just have to wait until you are back home and have access to your ID again.

No, you must do this in the Pi Browser app on your phone. There, just press "KYC" on the home screen or enter kyc.pinet.com in the address bar manually.

Time will tell how the future will be. Right now there are things like www.reddit.com/r/LocalPi/ but there are already the first apps adapting to the enclosed mainnet as well. Supply shouldn't be an issue for a while because 80% of coins roughly are locked up and the rest of the available supply also just increases slowly.

They are already transferring coins to those that passed KYC. We just have to wait for them to start the next migration process to receive the coins we earned since then + for the process to start to receive coins earned from referrals that passed KYC.

my kyc was not going thru for months. i did it over a few weeks ago and was validated in one day. my coins migrated a few days later.

No. Once we eventually reach the open mainnet there will be a deadline introduced but by then your submission should already long be processed.
I thought I saw something on KYC that said its costs some of your PI to go through KYC. Did I read it right at one million pi to do KYC?
KYC costs exactly 1 Pi which is then distributed to the people that are involved in the KYC process.

If you are unable to access KYC after KYC has been opened to all, it means that your account has been identified by the algorithm as either being a fake account or an account associated with policy violations including scripting and others. The access to KYC is designed and intended to be unavailable for fake accounts, bots, and policy violators.

My problem is slightly different, as I was told my kyc has been approved and I’m already a validator. But I keep seeing a message from my Mainnet checklist that there is an issue with my kyc.
I was asked to post on the fireside that I have successfully finished kyc, which I did twice so far, yet stuck with same issue for months now.
What’s your advice for me please?

They are already transferring coins to those that passed KYC. We just have to wait for them to start the next migration process to receive the coins we earned since then + for the process to start to receive coins earned from referrals that passed KYC.
