It was ME! I love my Jatropha podagrica. The leaves get humongous! I have a net bag around to seed pod (they throw their seeds), hoping to grow some babies. I just bought another weirdo. It was called Cyphostemma Hardy Har Har. 🤣🤣. I think it’s a hybrid of Cyphostemma hardyi but has red leaves. Supposed to be delivered today. I’m so excited. Can you tell these oddballs are my jam.

Air hugs! ❤ I find that I definitely plant shop more when I am down and just crave that dopamine hit. We had a bit of a traumatic event this month (we’re all ok), but I went to an orchid/plant show 10 days later and went CRAZY. Spent way too much money. But I ended up with a polyneura outer variegated too and I adore it. Along with a lot of other things. 😂 Thankfully I’ve sold a ton of props since then and made my money back so it’s ok!

The outer variegated polyneura is stunning, so glad I've finally got one! and well done for selling props, I really should do that but there's just so many steps to it my adhd brain really gets in the way a lot of the time with being able to do that 😫
Love you hope it gets better. I just went on a spending spree and bought stuff I didn't need. We need to work towards getting a better van. When I'm done I will sleep the entire day and wake up the next day. I know my meds help a lot but I'm about to not be able to afford them 😢
Amy I think about what would happen to my plants.. I have some health issues and while its been a struggle the care and well being of my baby granddaughter is top priority these days. So the plants that mean so much to me may not be as important to someone in my family but hopefully they would pass them on with love.. I love my pings.. I can help you if you have any questions.. And that plant with the fuzzy leaves and spikes is fantastic!! Hope you feel better soon ❤❤

Omg the snail! I found one in my terrarium and put him in a jar with some cucumber and he died. Now since I’ve found another one in the terrarium so I’ve decided he can stay. If I’m overrun I won’t be happy. 😂 We don’t have snails here, too hot and dry in the summer and cold and dry in the winter. So they’d definitely die outside. Or I’d be unlucky enough to start an invasive problem!
I can't imagine not having snails outside haha! I would really love to keep them I'm just so anxious about them escaping and causing havoc in my collection. I initially did put the snail (and a few others I've found) in a little jar with some cucumber and a few little bits of bark for them to hide behind and explore and was going to research how to properly care for them but then I got overly anxious and worried they'd die so set them free (where knowing my luck they probably died 🤦🏻♀️)... I keep finding lil baby ones in that ping though, really need to repot it!

Also I love that you shared a little about your burn-out as I’m struggling with autistic burn-out myself and have been on sick leave for over 7 months now.. I hope you will feel better soon! 💚 And treat yourself on as many plants as needed 😌🌱
Hi Kim! I'm sorry you're struggling with burn out too, it's so hard isn't it and I feel like not many people in my real life truly understand what neurodivergent burn out is like. Well done for taking the time off that you need, although it sucks that you need it in the first place. It's really hard to take that time off though, proud of you! And yesss!! I love that we go through these phases as plant parents! haha 🤣 I just love the cooky ones with character!
That serum would do great out on the balcony, I had some that I chucked in the corner of my garden and now they growing all over, they are very hardy x
That's what Bash said too! I just worry about it being dug up by the squirrel 🥹🫣 It's my own fault as I've encouraged the squirrel to visit us but I hadn't really thought about plants on the balcony when I was doing so!

Check out the Phallanthus Mirabillis it’s such a cool Caudex. The leaves open a close with the day light a night. Feel better soon 💚
