Lava is renewable. Lava over dripstone with a cauldron underneath it. I set up about 20 dripstone/cauldrons and I have several double chest full of lava. I get more than I'll ever use.
Lave is not a renewable Resource ? Build a lava farm. It works in java, it should work in bedrock. … But I agree never agree, never use lava in a super melter. Only in a stream shelter.
You can use lava, it smelts 100 blocks for every lava bucket. You can also make a lava farm for that. RUclipsr ‘Mod stop’ has a good video for a lava farm.

You can make a kelp farm that funnels into a composer. OR make a villager slave farm that produces so much food you bonemeal half of it.
