the metal ring gasket is not supposed to go with the doughnut gasket, one was for one end and the other was for the other end, the spring bolts should not have given you that much trouble

Since the header isn't catted how is the smell at idle etc... is it really bad? I was thinking about doing this soon.
From my experience it wasn't bad. My car did run a little more rich but nothing I was upset/worried about

Fitment was fine with stock sway bars

Did the check engine light come on?
No, the header came with the test pipe where the 02 sensors plug in. I had no light come on after the install

I actually removed the old grill and cut out the mounting points. Then sanded it down to be smooth. So pretty much a grill delete

ELA DC5 I drive an Rsx type s aswell but I use a ktuned catback and I’ve gotta Install my ktuned header

ELA DC5 yes i think I saw a resonator when I put it on it’s been on for awhile and it sounds amazing plus it’s the best for clearance
