Looks interesting. A few questions:
1) Does this support both 1Gbs and 10 Gbs traffic?
2) How much of a performance drop would you expect for traffic running through this? Of course this depends on the program analyzing the traffic, but lets assume something simple like capturing to a PCAP file.
3) Is PayLoad Studio Community / Pro necessary to write and upload scripts? I'd prefer to avoid another editor and just do this in Visual Studio Code (possibly with a plugin) which is my main development environment.
4) Is the book available as a PDF?

Mark III or IV should have PoE-Passthru (802.3af/at) or "passive PoE" support. This would open up the world of pentesting for businesses; so many sites use microwave connections to "extend the office" and IT figure "ehh, WPAx secure is good enough encryption."
That would open up a whole new access vector for possible exploitation. Literally "state level" type of attack. The device its self could easily be powered using some of the power from the supplied inline power.

@@accesser a few years ago i implemented PoE for an industrial camera and it does not take up that much space... of course it would make it a little bit bigger, but it could be worth it.

Interesting choice in updates to the packet squirrel looking forward to getting hands on.
This should have PoE support. Many networks deliver PoE to the end points - even when not needed (e.g. desktop computer, printer, etc.) so it would be much easier to conceal if it did not need a USB-C power supply somewhere nearby.
I think that in Mark III but anyway if it’s needed you can get a PoE adapter
PoE os a good point. If you don’t have reliable power source it can be a problem.
Wow, this is a game changer. The previous version was a bit lack luster but still great, can this run a DHCP server or is it still for a single client.
Edit: does it support gigabit Ethernet?

While I am studying infosec I have been really thinking about how something like this could be planted inside an office by a threat actor that tailgates in, plugs it in and gets out. Possibly to recover in a few days the same way or just hides it in a way hopefully it never gets found and self destructs when it does.
I don't quite have the knowledge to quickly figure out what scripts you might run in a really secure environment.
I would love to see some examples.

My main question for it is can it do real time packet logging to/from a specific IP address or mac address.

Using this device, is possible to configure it to reroute the entire network traffic via a vpn server, without changing any config on the network itself ?
I mean that's great, but slightly offtopic, are you guys gonna fix the pineapple firmware at any point? Currently the mobile web ui is broken, Open AP hide/show function is pretty broken, impersonation only works half the time, and Evil Portal only logs about 1/3rd of all the loot even though it logged the authorization, the only thing currently working as it should is recon, so the scanning and deauthing, but I don't need a pineapple for that... This is the stable channel fyi

dont think one will be made, but if you need poe passtrough only, i figured that you can put a poe splitter in front of it and then a poe injector behind and rig em together, not pretty but it works.
