This song is about the end of a relationship. We parted in love, and we never fought or argued, but there was a whole matrix of reasons why it had to end, including spiritual renunciation. Writing it, recording it and filming for it brought some kind of healing and integration of the loss. It helped me to gather up my soul fragments from all the places I had left them in.
The actress playing the role of the lover who leaves is Laura Fenyvesi. I knew her as a friend in a spiritual community in Budapest. We agreed to meet in a cafe and I played her the track. I filmed her as she heard the song for the first time, and she cried. We didn't expect that. It was all ‘live’; there was no script or agenda. Laura is an accomplished individual; a model, and a tri-lingual writer and actress, as well as a singer and dancer. To her it was at first just another job, but the song spoke to her.

Oh Asha this is such an important song. I especially relate to the quotation "and all the light went out on my runway, and my plane it couldn't land". A brilliant lyric if there ever was one. Listened to properly this is a powerful healing song. For me it brings to mind my favourite literary quotation which I would like to share with you: "But I, the divine Aphrodite, I wait through all ages, and sweet to mine ears is thy footfall, O child of the city" - Radclyffe-Hall. This song was for my estranged twin-flame, and still is. My task is to learn how to keep the love, with no other agenda. I KNOW she is my twin-flame, because she gives me the pain I need to grow. She sacrificed her love for that.
@AshaSongs I totally sympathise with what you have been though I regards to your twin flame as I have been through the mill with the twin flame karma. At the end of the day I decided that I wasn't going to go through any more soul pain. But it took me literally years to get to that decision. Like yourself I wrote some very fine poetic work for my twin flame, writing that, without her, would never have been written. It literally took my entire will to power to say enough is enough and to decide that I was worth more than the soul pain that I was enduring. But believe me, doing that was a tough call. Yes though, I do certainly relate to how full on the twin flame meeting and separation is, especially for the psychic member of the incarnation, as that is the carrier of the gnosis. But remember, that without our twin flames we would not be fulfilling our destinies as artists. I hope that you realise how many people you are helping with your music Asha, especially others in the twin flame karma.

Thanks, Myrtel Lou. The song is about my muse... loving her, losing her and where that has taken me. Laura in the film played the role of my muse, but she is not my muse! Curiously she is the sister of the guy who has more recently been going out with my muse... but I didn't know that when I met Laura.
