Hey guys, i've got a german giant for you today, a plane that had its FM improved in this patch 1.79. The Ta 152 C-3 is the plane we'll fly today. The elevator still isnt stellar, but the plane seems slightly less stiff. Hope you enjoy! and do like, comment and subscribe! Have a good one :)
The thing I hate the most on this plane is exactly the thing I appreciate the most: the Mk.103 Cannon. It's a very heavy gun, and it makes the plane handles like having Hermann Göring sitting on the nose of it. But with that fantastic muzzle velocity and destructive power, it totally worth it. And as always, excellent video, very informative, liked it very much!
People have a false impression that Richthofen was a gifted dogfighter, but in reality he was most talented at analyzing whichever situation he was in and reacting accordingly. His victories consisted of careful attention of conditional probability and the exploitation of distraction. He preferred to kill his opponents outright rather than fight them in a protracted engagement, and they were the easiest to kill when they were more worried about his wingmen. He was effective and brilliant, not a prodigious duelist. I look to his example as often as possible, and more War Thunder players would do well to learn from that example.
Love how the two 30mm cannons are mounted on the inner root of the wings, along with the other four Mg-151 20mm cannons centralized on the nose on the Ta 152. So much focused firepower. The slept Kingdom. Nosotros Papaya.
Great video, even better editorial! Since I'm a crappy pilot trying to get better I find I focus more with chat disabled. I know I'm probably missing some good stuff like "look out!' and the ability to thank and compliment my allies but I do try to acknowledge with a fly-by and wing wave when I can. In the meantime my attention span is booked solid with no time for nonsense ;)
These people who smack talk you over a tactical retreat do not seriously believe you are afraid, they are just trying to incite you into doing something foolish when the situation favors them.
Great vid and great speech mate! I really like your gaming philosophy, it made me improve my skills back when I started playing RB. When I started focusing on fighting without dying, knowing when and how to engage I really started to enjoy this game more. o7 m8 ;)
One of those videos which are entertaining but you can actually learn something from them. Speech about running away from engagement slightly changed my point of view on WT. A very nice video !
Epic man, and so much truth! Btw refreshing idea about these... tactics issues :) You could add even several others toppics, like usuall ground straffing suicide of allied teams etc... Pretty good job mate ;)
players like that nerd that was complaining spend to much time in the forums all living in a bubble. he was wrong you are right Jengar. luv your vids mate. keep up the good work.
Fantastic match, Jengar! Agree with you 100% on these matters, of course. I play WT RB air mainly because of this long matches, it is fantastic when this happens. Fun, but a bit too stressfull for me alone, still; have turned around 1 vs 5 at least, many, many times, with just patience and common sense. Even more fun when we are like 2-3 vs 5-6 and cooperate well. Magnificent.
awh, I thought he would feature me and a friend in this video. he flew with us the other day in this Ta, on Norway. we were advertising his channel and getting carried. feels bad man unless i win the contest ; )
Great video on a plane I adore. Have flown in AB to good effect, now keen to try RB as I’ve made the transition to this game mode. Agree it’s a plane that needs a lot of discipline and focus.
I was just watching the older ta 152 c3 video earlier! Glad to see you come back to it as I just unlocked it and am wondering how best to grind it out lol
Seriously Jengar, your videos are amazing, they are informative, they are entertaining, and you can actually pull out some knowledge out of these videos. I've watched a lot of your vids and they have improved me as a pilot in the game, maybe I should try to get a match with you so we can duel each other for once and that would completely make my day even if I lost. Anyway, great video and God bless your beautiful soul -A random person on the Internet
I had to come back and view your video again. My TA 152 C 3 has an expert crew. Yet, at 5k meters, I found if flew like it had a load of bricks tied to it. Even with the sabotaging of the plane by Gaijin for turns (now a ridiculous 27 seconds and American planes not known for turning are now at 18 seconds), I found the plane hung there like in a prop hang when turning to go after a bomber. Gaijin has always sabotaged one thing or another on this plane. Now it is turn time and power. Which makes it as an interceptor - rather useless over all.
Being lvl100 doesnt mean youre skillful nor does being lvl 30 mean youre bad, Gaijin has no ranking system so best way is to look at players K/D ratio to see if a player is good.
V-M-P k/D says nothing about stats, what makes you skillful depends on a lot of things. Imo winrate top of the team possition and k/b (kills per battle) say a lot more
If you can use the game design to suit your own situation, why is that a bad thing? Its in the game, use it till it is removed. They would be the first to complain if the AAA on their airfield ignored a fighter attacking them on the runway. Good on you for using your brain to play the game. They could have easily stayed high and covered you. Anyway, good clip as always :-)
there's a huge difference between a tactical retreat and airfield camping adamulos, airfieldcamping where you stay there, with the purpose of letting the aa shoot ppl down is bad, but using the airfield for a sec to accomplish a tactical reset, with the aim to reenter the field to engage the opposition is fine. At least, thats my oppinion. The airfield jumpout glitch is on a completely different lvl of bad, even compared to actual airfield camping.
The players level is so low they simply don´t understand some tactics and movements! Only they know is head ons and more head ons! Nice video as always!
@@Serkay64 but it's powered by the DB 605 Supercharged engine Which was used in the Bf-109's Which the DB 605 was proved to be extremely good at high altitude
@@flak8842 The DB605 was pretty good until it reached 5700 meters altitude, because the performance dropped off more and more the higher you went. It had a special system that allowed it to have the same performance at 5700 meters and below
One of my biggest gripes in this game is abusing the AF AAA by just camping and not taking off and whenever someone tries to take someone out on their AF the fucker would J out to deny them the kill. Players would still do this ftom time to time when they're the only one left and it boggles me why gaijiigles haven't made an attempt to remedy this.
Ah yes. The lovely Ta-152C-3. A very nice plane to fly and a not so nice plane to face (cries in Allied Bombers). I usually get cocky in it because it's a "190" that can forgive a mistake or two, and I pay the price for my overconfidence - hence why my K/DR is trash in it. Oh, two more things: 1st. The C-3 performs quite well at altitudes above 9.000m in my opinion. I testflew it today and I brought it up to 11.000m without any problems. I even broke the 720kmh TAS mark at that altitude 2nd. I think you were referring to the "Dicta Boelcke" in your 'speech' about aces. He wrote something similar to Richthofen. His first Rule was to always secure the advantages before engaging. And if you're behind enemy lines that you always make sure that you can retreat. (Oh my .. I wrote a novel again)
Oh, and in addition to that; What differs a good from a bad or maybe inexperienced pilot is knowing when to engage or when to retreat. A good pilot knows if he can (realistically) win the fight or not. A bad/inexperienced pilot would just charge in and die
Just like in the other vid, you were circling the AF trying to land a damaged aircraft, people in the chat immediately start complaining saying you're a camper while it was totally geoorloofd. I mean admissible. Sometimes players can be so toxic. Shame
greetings, earthling, compression is controll stiffening, which means the speed and pressure of the windflow over the controll surfaces is at such lvl's that the pilot will have increasingly more difficulty maneuvering the plane, the faster the plane goes. And planes are effected by this in varying amounts. A plane that doesnt have much compression is better able to manuever in a dive and get guns on target.
ah uh jengar historically the Ta-152 C3 is mid to high altitude bomber interceptor and it's perfomance above 5000m is still excellect and even better perfomance so i can still outrun the P-51 at high alt
Hey Jengar, about the planes top speed, you always mention 3 different altitudes, and you always call sea level the fastest. Why? Almost every prop plane I tried on the game goes faster when you fly high. Maybe im wrong, but I recall it being that way. Good video btw!
Cygnusvere If you're using SPD then they do fly faster at higher altitudes. With IAS however, that's not the case at all. Use IAS. It's much better and more accurate. As for why the Ta 152 C is faster lower.. well it depends from plane to plane. Some planes perform better when there's less air density aka at higher altitudes, while in the case of the Ta 152, it's much better at low to mid.
Deus Vult Oh, I never noticed he uses IAS. Thanks for the explanation! And yes, I know some planes perform better or worse depending on the altitude. However, the TA152 was supposed to be an interceptor in real life, so shouldn't it perform better at higher altitudes?
Cygnusvere It should indeed, the Ta 152H has excellent high altitude performance, I don't know why the C type isn't the same. Could be Gaijin's mistake.
All planes are faster at sea lvl compared to high alt performance, even planes with great high alt performance. something to do with thicker air with which the propellor has more effect. there's more reasons, but i dont have the knowledge ready atm, its been a while since i saw some docu's about this.
You're using IAS, and that's why we get different results. I've read that in real life IAS is only accurate at sea level (used during takeoffs-landings), while TAS (True Air Speed) is used above certain altitudes. Turbo engines develop higher power at higher altitudes, and, for example, there's a lot less drag at 7km altitude than sea level, which also helps the plane go faster. An example of this can be Formula 1 cars: At circuits like Brazil or Mexico (both highly above sea level), the cars use thicker aerodynamic components than usual, because the drag penalty is much less than it is at the rest of circuits. They always use turbo engines, so both things make the cars way achieve higher top speed in those locations.
Hey Jengar. I was the tempest guy. I must adming you had a great game. Just to give you my feedback, I just saw one of the best WT player go camping around his airfield as the last fighter for quite a long time, meanwhile I was forced to get back to my base to refuel. And as I did not the same as you, I spent the rest of the match bellow you in a disadvantage. Althoug I would probably not be able to kill you anyway. :-) So yeah, It was smart tactic and gave you a win. But really afwull and boring from the gameplay point of view. So I am just affraid, if both sides use the same, than the each game after 15-25 minutes will be a boring airfield camping and than it is better to j-out and go play a new one. Which I almost did during your match. But anyway, all the best in your work.
i executed a split-S twice above my airfield before the beercan buggered off and i went immidiatly after him. The whole excange lasted a minute and a half. it is an extreme overstatement that it was quite a long time. It was actually rather quick. Landing and j-ing out isnt in my dna. i will always try to win. Again, there is a huge difference between a tactical retreat and actual airfield camping.
Thing is they were aces and as you said inly had one life but war thunder is a game and ones who play it are players not pilots and among those players think that airfield camping is a bad thing so if you get salt for it is normal
I don't mind a tactical reset; I have done it myself. But I think that, for the most part, I can recognize when the opposing team did better and does not deserve that I camp the airfield just out of spite. These are, as I said, two different situations, and in this game, I think you rightfully used the first approach. I have had matches where people do not even make an effort to come back. They simply camp. And in my opinion, that is not a fair way to win a game, which sometimes happen because of ticket bleed. If your entire team dies, didn't cause enough ticket bleed and you are left with, let's say 3 or 4 opponents that have "better" planes, is it fair to use air field? I don't think so. I may try to climb with the cover of aaa, but I will face those 3 or 4. I will most likely not make it, but who knows, I might get one. Again, this is clearly not what happened in this game, but I just want to emphasize that camping is a problem in air RB. Now on a different note. Your plane reviews are excellent, I have said that multiple times before. WT, however, is not about the plane alone. It's about the pilot and, about the team work. And it is not uncommon to have a matched ruined by players that simply don't care about team work. So, here's a suggestion for maybe a new series. It would be nice to see squad play videos once in a while. After all, this is one of the features of the game. And perhaps that would inspire people to work more with their teams, even if not squaded up. Maybe 1 out of 10 or 15 videos could be about squad play. Just a suggestion. That said, once again, excellent video and content in general all the time. Have I said that before? Oh, right I did ;)
nah jengar, when the point of „resetting“ is to wait until the enemies get bored waiting and go for groundtargets, than thats a bad strategy which hurts the gameplay. When would you have left your airfield when those 2 allies wouldnt have dove down?
not nessesarily until ppl getting bored, i was over my airfield there for a minute and a half. Thats not too long. In general ppl peel off about 5km from the airfield. this is what usually happens giving me the oppertunity to pass the airfield on the other side and making my way back into the centre of the map. making the time abouve the airfield 30 seconds to a minute. and this does reset the tactical situation. Some ppl have to go back for fuel, like the tempest in this case. even if the beercan would have remained close on alt, i would have only faced him there. Which is alread better then both of them. There's a huge difference between a tactical reset and actual airfield camping (which is a pilot that wants to stay above the airfield and has no intention of moving away from there).
true, this plane only slacks badly of above 8k/9k, as i said in the video, the plane still performs better below 5k, but thats not saying its bad between 5k and 8k.
i think i mentioned it performs better at mid to low altitude, but i also think i still recommend climbing in it and start high, i also mentioned only extreme alts like 8k plus where the performance slacks of, and i said in wt it never goes to that alt, or only rarely. And i mentioned it still performs decently at 5-8k. But best below 5k. I did never, anywhere in the video advise to stay below 5k the whole match, especially not at low alt like you said you used it.
I am not saying all aircrafts must be best turn fighters, but I really hate strategy of Gaijin. Why is this plane such slow? There is not even single propeller fighter in german tree which make more than 600 km/h at sea level. This TA-152C and TA-152H have to be fast as hell, but almost everything is faster than these fighters which is bulls***. And the elevator is still very bad as Jengar said and thats sad reality.
It's not that slow. Jengar said incorrectly that it's top speed at sea level is 575 kph, while true top speed with 0% radiator at sea level is 609-610 kph IAS. That's what i got in my test. There's a good doc that shows Top speed's and climb rates of different aircraft: docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1hgHbWlSjefFhCqOUeGpoKQntdQDPG32X7XQo9EqDF00/edit#gid=1236982432 Those speed's are in TAS but at sea level TAS=IAS. Nevertheless, in general german props at higher Br are neither very fast or maneuverable (except Ta 152H), so they are harder to use (worse) than other nation aircraft (again except Ta 152H). If only allies were more experienced ,started to climb more, and stop using attacker and bombers, and Ta 152 lost their airspawn (which they shouldn't imo) battles would be more in favor to allies due to their better planes.
Alpakinator, well, just look at how freeaboos complained when P47s lost their BS airspawn, that fact alone was making P47 spam a boring shit. But cannons, mainly german ones with Mineshell, are making German planes a very powerful striker, a few well connected hits and several planes will lose a lot of their flight quality. German higher BR props, a bit slow? Yes, bad turn time? Yeah, miserable climb rate (compared to equal BR props)? Yes, cannons can deliver a WW2 of hurt to the unlucky Target? Pretty much deal.
DESERTDOG730 you have an airspawn, sideclimb a little after that and then headon what you can headon. Also a brilliant bomber hunter, even stock. The grind is worth it, it is one of the easiest planes to get high kills per match, simply because you can dive on any plane from every altitude. You are at 6km, enemy is at 3km, just put your nose down and attack at 750+ kph, it is very easy to bring guns on target
Lots of new players watch you and When you say retreat and reset the situation when necessary it makes sense for you to do but there are lots of new players who do that but they don't know how to play and are not confident enough to engage in a fight agains lots of enemis so all they do is airfield camp and that doesn't benefit them or players they are playing against What I am trying to say is don't encourage new players to use tactics that only experienced players should use
Real life concepts don't always translate well into fun and engaging gameplay elements. Bombing the enemies airfields and supply chains preventing them from even taking the fight to the air or shooting down 262s during their landing approach may have been what was effective back then but it doesn't make for a particulary interesting gameplay scenario in a PvP game. An "epic reversal" is what is seen in your outro, not hiding in an impenetrable AAA screen. You got into a superior situation not because of superior airmanship but because your enemy got tired of doing nothing and tried to end the round via tickets. Most people, including you, have limited time to throw at this game. 40 minute air RB rounds with 5 minutes of battle time more often than not are a chore, not fun. Flying around at 6km alt with 40% throttle waiting for that small black dot to get far enough away from his airfield for you to close in for the kill has absolutely nothing to do with skill, just with resistance to an incredibly tiresome waiting game. Which is why many people like that lawndarting F8F pilot are not interested in doing so. The time you invest for that could have been a complete new round, 5K RP more towards that next modification and plane.
well, we can agree to disagree, matches like this are what keeps me comming back for more. And my flightstyle has brought me nothing but improvement, progression and great moments. So for me this is the way to go.
Mineshells are the thing that makes any bomber shit their pants, the damage buff is now making german planes a very strong type of plane, poor turn fighter quality, good BnZ, yet these guns will not disappoint you if you aim your shots well and they connect. Hard to learn and facing fearsome opposition, but masters of firepower nonetheless, that's what makes Germany a bag of surprises, tanks goes from Glass cannons to slow armored beasts with medium tank max speed, SPGs either become glass cannons for memes or a long range armored bunker that moves around, then shed armor for speed at the right point. Planes are the basic of ".50 cals? Pff, in Germany, we use lots of cannon Dakka"
:)
Jengar please tell us again about the fw 190 d 13:)))
Jengar im agree with your decision of go to your airfield. They would do the same if they were in your situation
Yo, nice video :D could you make also a video about the H-1 please?
Jengar ta152s are op enough
I really loved the speech about the aces and the reset tactic.
Thank you mate! glad you enjoyed! :)
Whats ur pfp.?
No! Never retreat! just turn 180 degrees and continue advancing! Your point is totally right but i couldn’t resist.
hehe ;)
Allied pilots continue to surprise me, cannons got buffed and they still go head-on to ta152s or fw190s
yeah, they wont in some time i think ;)
like eric cartman used to say, screw you guys, i'm going home
lol, true that ;)
cartman ?
ruclips.net/video/MTc3zcnIZOw/видео.html it is also a south park reference
I know this is old but hot damn that made my day.
Honestly screw that f8f. Your flying was fantastic. You did everything very well if not excellent. Super enjoyable to watch. Great video!
Thanks mate, appreciated! :)
that He-177 is the true mvp
:)
The thing I hate the most on this plane is exactly the thing I appreciate the most: the Mk.103 Cannon. It's a very heavy gun, and it makes the plane handles like having Hermann Göring sitting on the nose of it. But with that fantastic muzzle velocity and destructive power, it totally worth it.

thats mate, glad you enjoyed!
Imagine getting to lvl100 without learning the concept of resetting...talking trash, and crashing into the ground trying to groundpound.
yeah, WT community never cease to amaze ;)
Somebody better call a Waahmbulance for that beercan...
hehe, indeed ;)
Hell of a video. Run a way, live to fight another day. good thing to keep in mind.
Thanks mate, glad you enjoyed!
Superb flying Jengar, you are a real good pilot.
Cheers Markus!
if that Bearcan want a fair fight he should fight a Spitfire 22 instead of C3
well yeah, apprearently instead of tactically resetting things i think he just wanted me to turnfight the both of them and die by his guns ;)
C3 is awesome i feel it

'Dogfighting is a waste of time' - Erich Hartmann, germany's ww2 top ace, preffered that as well.
Jengar Couldn't agree more, though I respect people that can entice their enemies to play into a dogfight they can't win.
he was also a real nice guy all around
Richthofen died. Hartman survived.
I am something
Richthofen was also flying in an era where your own plane was more likely to kill you than the enemy was

the one 30 is in the nose, trough the propellor shaft. the 20's are 2 in the top cowling, and two in the wingbase ;)
Yea, sorry obviously I've never flown out the Ta-152 =\.
np mate ;)

These people who smack talk you over a tactical retreat do not seriously believe you are afraid, they are just trying to incite you into doing something foolish when the situation favors them.
Agreed Ray!
Yes tactical taunting lol
Sometimes people say stupid stuff to get you to do what they want you to. If it doesn't work, mature people would just move on.
Good flying as usual.
Cheers mate, and they do indeed! ;)
I love how you call the F8F the "Beercan" :D
hehe ;)
I like you jengar man you always make realistic reasonable facts you seem straight up and a gentlemen at that, thanks for the videos man 👍✈
ty sir!

Some players simply can't tell tactics from passive playing.
Good video as always!
cheers mate! and agreed.
I really loved spading this thing, it has to be the best offensive armament in the game
its indeed fantastic, and definitely amongst the best :)
My favourite planes Ta 152
their beauties indeed!
players like that nerd that was complaining spend to much time in the forums all living in a bubble. he was wrong you are right Jengar. luv your vids mate. keep up the good work.

A well deserved victory! And one less salty subscriber :D Win-win situation I would say.
Agreed mate! :)
CYLON RAIDERS ON DRADIS !!!(that drum theme plays)
WE ARE FRAKED!!!
who, what, where? ;)
I was just watching the older ta 152 c3 video earlier! Glad to see you come back to it as I just unlocked it and am wondering how best to grind it out lol
you're welcome mate!
I agree with everything you said about a tactical withdrawal , But! This is a Game! , I love watching your videos, I watch them every day. Thanks
Thanks mark! appreciated.

Thanks mate, much appreciated! :) Comments like these make my day!
Insane clutch in an unfavorable situation, f8f salt and even fmt3 made an appearance. Honestly, this video ticks all the right boxes
cheers mate ;)
They just wanna make you salty, and therefore doing mistakes. They know, that "camping" (reset) is your advantage
true, and camping in my eyes would be staying there. There's a huge difference between a tactical reset and camping.
Well done bro. Once again great flying.
cheers Jason!
Stop being so good
I wouldnt have fun just jerking around ;)
I learned something today thank you jengar
you are welcome!
The number of P-51, P-47 and Spitfires willing to go head-on with this thing is astounding
This thing has become so good, especcially since the cannon buff. I face them all the time in my spitfire
yeah, the guns are great now :)
I wonder how these guys get to these tiers...
sometimes one wonders..
I like this plane, reminds me of a d13. Good thing is it don't overheat like it use to. Thanks again.....
you're welcome!
i love the TAs
same here! :)
A beautiful Video as always. Extremly informative too (like everytime).
thanks mate!
I had to come back and view your video again. My TA 152 C 3 has an expert crew. Yet, at 5k meters, I found if flew like it had a load of bricks tied to it. i still like it with what it has tbh :)
Nice maneuvers on that f4u 👏
Thank you Sir!
Being lvl100 doesnt mean youre skillful nor does being lvl 30 mean youre bad, Gaijin has no ranking system so best way is to look at players K/D ratio to see if a player is good.
sure, i agree with that, they had decent k/d ratio's. Lvl 100 at least means you have a certain experience, but i agree it says nothing about skill.
V-M-P k/D says nothing about stats, what makes you skillful depends on a lot of things. Imo winrate top of the team possition and k/b (kills per battle) say a lot more
Wow really wanted a video about this plane. Edit: could you try the do335B as well?
its on my to do list!
Fun fact this plane never saw combat
I didnt know that.
jengar for the next subscriber episode could you review the ki-43-III Otsu at 4.0?
the j7w1 has won that vote ;)
If you can use the game design to suit your own situation, why is that a bad thing? Its in the game, use it till it is removed. They would be the first to complain if the AAA on their airfield ignored a fighter attacking them on the runway.

Very heavy plane
indeed!
The Ta-152 C3 is a medium to high altitude fighter not low to medium
The C3 is still made for lower altitudes than the H1. Its performance is best at about 6km altitude IIRC
And all the C variants of the Ta152 were meant for low to medium altitude
@@Serkay64 but it's powered by the DB 605 Supercharged engine
Which was used in the Bf-109's
Which the DB 605 was proved to be extremely good at high altitude
@@flak8842 The DB605 was pretty good until it reached 5700 meters altitude, because the performance dropped off more and more the higher you went. It had a special system that allowed it to have the same performance at 5700 meters and below
@@flak8842 And the Ta152C used the DB603L/LA, not the DB605
The beercan pilot is kid :))))
Very good video. And a nice lesson. Please, do this tutorial. Thanks
Cheers mate, i will!:)
Good stuff man, although for some reason my 20mm and 30mm spark.
the 30's do a lot, the 20's only rarely though.
That Corsair ... ummm ... funny guy :)
yeah, that was funny :)
One of my biggest gripes in this game is abusing the AF AAA by just camping and not taking off and whenever someone tries to take someone out on their AF the fucker would J out to deny them the kill. Players would still do this ftom time to time when they're the only one left and it boggles me why gaijiigles haven't made an attempt to remedy this.
ah yeah, the jout trick on the airfield. thats something that needs to be fixed.

Add in that internet connection loss thing you know, that meme thing idk
lol
Cuz’ cuz’ the p63 wasn’t responding to you closing in
lol heh heh
Oh, two more things:
1st. The C-3 performs quite well at altitudes above 9.000m in my opinion. I testflew it today and I brought it up to 11.000m without any problems. I even broke the 720kmh TAS mark at that altitude
2nd.
Oh, and in addition to that;
What differs a good from a bad or maybe inexperienced pilot is knowing when to engage or when to retreat. A good pilot knows if he can (realistically) win the fight or not. A bad/inexperienced pilot would just charge in and die
its a great plane indeed, yeah, righthoven was a tactical genius :)
Yeah he was. He probably would've been amongst the best in WWII as well most likely. Heck, perhaps even today
yeah agreed!
WHY TF IS IT 6.0 NOW
idk, its good, but the sekrit documents are probably in gaijin's HQ ;)
Hey Jengar, you don't longer play AB?
only for premium reviews these days.
So this is a beast lol
absolutely :)
Hey Jengar, you should make a video about revisiting infamous Firebrand! God help you with that :D
not in a million years, i had my share of the firebrand.
I enjoyed the first half of the video, but then it was all about you repeating the same basic step over and over again xD
With the Ta, you can out dogfight tempests, bearcats, even p47 Ms. So dont give me that shit about the elevator, use your fucking flaps.
Just like in the other vid, you were circling the AF trying to land a damaged aircraft, people in the chat immediately start complaining saying you're a camper while it was totally geoorloofd. I mean admissible. Sometimes players can be so toxic. Shame
yeah, absolutely :)
Hi, non-native speaker here. What is the meaning of 'compression' in the context of fighter planes?
greetings, earthling, compression is controll stiffening, which means the speed and pressure of the windflow over the controll surfaces is at such lvl's that the pilot will have increasingly more difficulty maneuvering the plane, the faster the plane goes. And planes are effected by this in varying amounts. A plane that doesnt have much compression is better able to manuever in a dive and get guns on target.
Jengar thank you very much. You are a gentleman.
np Armin!
ah uh jengar
historically the Ta-152 C3 is mid to high altitude bomber interceptor
and it's perfomance above 5000m is still excellect and even better perfomance so i can still outrun the P-51 at high alt
Things have changed a lot, this and the other ta got buffs, definitely something that i'll have to look at again, if i find the time ;)
Hey Jengar, about the planes top speed, you always mention 3 different altitudes, and you always call sea level the fastest.
So yeah, It was smart tactic and gave you a win.
Thing is they were aces and as you said inly had one life but war thunder is a game and ones who play it are players not pilots and among those players think that airfield camping is a bad thing so if you get salt for it is normal
yeah, but there's a difference between a tactical retreat and airfield camping.
Oh, right I did ;)
good distinction between the two sorts of airfield use joal, most ppl dont know the difference.
How does an engine overheat at 7km altitude.
good question!
nah jengar, when the point of „resetting“ is to wait until the enemies get bored waiting and go for groundtargets, than thats a bad strategy which hurts the gameplay.
Strange, I can recall this plane is also good at higher altitude vs. most of the allied planes and against all russian planes.
true, this plane only slacks badly of above 8k/9k, as i said in the video, the plane still performs better below 5k, but thats not saying its bad between 5k and 8k.
"mid to LOW altitudes" you insane
it is what it is.
Jengar tried low altitude 7 times 7 deaths 2 kills high alt 4 kills to 1 death
i think i mentioned it performs better at mid to low altitude, but i also think i still recommend climbing in it and start high, i also mentioned only extreme alts like 8k plus where the performance slacks of, and i said in wt it never goes to that alt, or only rarely. And i mentioned it still performs decently at 5-8k. But best below 5k. I did never, anywhere in the video advise to stay below 5k the whole match, especially not at low alt like you said you used it.
Jengar well then missed that one
means that you're responding to things too quickly, watch the whole vid, then comment.
This plane is most op plane better than p47 this should get a ground spawn
the later p-47's climbrate is much better than this one though.
Lol one of the guys from the match disliked your video!
could well be ;)
Fly the me 163 attempt # 3
its still on the to do list!
did u fly it on simulation ? i want
nope ;) sim is not my cup of tea. Great plane though, also on RB.
@@jengar6258 for test pls
If I could only fly 20% like u........
you can, focus on progressing and learning new things and you'll improve. Practice makes perfect.
can i get some of those clueless p-63 pilots to shoot at? haha
TACTICAL SURRENDER
I am not saying all aircrafts must be best turn fighters, but I really hate strategy of Gaijin. Why is this plane such slow? There is not even single propeller fighter in german tree which make more than 600 km/h at sea level. This TA-152C and TA-152H have to be fast as hell, but almost everything is faster than these fighters which is bulls***. And the elevator is still very bad as Jengar said and thats sad reality.
Slow?! Are you freaking crazy?! I made it go +550kph on sea level, stock. It's not at all a slow aircraft
It's not that slow. Jengar said incorrectly that it's top speed at sea level is 575 kph, while true top speed with 0% radiator at sea level is 609-610 kph IAS. That's what i got in my test.
There's a good doc that shows Top speed's and climb rates of different aircraft:
docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1hgHbWlSjefFhCqOUeGpoKQntdQDPG32X7XQo9EqDF00/edit#gid=1236982432
Those speed's are in TAS but at sea level TAS=IAS.
Nevertheless, in general german props at higher Br are neither very fast or maneuverable (except Ta 152H), so they are harder to use (worse) than other nation aircraft (again except Ta 152H). If only allies were more experienced ,started to climb more, and stop using attacker and bombers, and Ta 152 lost their airspawn (which they shouldn't imo)
battles would be more in favor to allies due to their better planes.
Michael_Jn fuçk you German planes are op af this is more op than p47 this needs a ground spawn
Yak 9 at 4.3 does 560 km/h at sea level or something really ridiculous.
Where da 10k subs at?
soon..
How should i pay this thing stock ? I cant get it work ;-;
Do you prefer the H-1?
i prefer this one ;)
Unlocked this plane yesterday, but jesus christ the stock climb rate is atrocious
zehDonut it honestly makes it no worth it for me.
Yeah but by the time you're at 5 or 6k, the brits are either at 7 or 8, or they're already dead / at the ground.
thus why markus say patiently sideclimb.
When your supercharger is better than yankees' turbochargers
well, not on extremely high alts ;)
Lots of new players watch you and
When you say retreat and reset the situation when necessary it makes sense for you to do but there are lots of new players who do that but they don't know how to play and are not confident enough to engage in a fight agains lots of enemis so all they do is airfield camp and that doesn't benefit them or players they are playing against
What I am trying to say is don't encourage new players to use tactics that only experienced players should use
thats true george, and i will go deeper into the subject in the tutorial im planning on this.
I hate flying against this plane in my b17
Bombers are pretty underwhelming now after the cannon buff
Pedro Rodrigues well fuck bombers
Pedro Rodrigues, except the Tu-4. That bomber gets much of the benefit too.
50 cals still good to , but yeah, bombers are in a tougher spot with cannons doing normal damage.
I found someone with the same name as u. (Almost same) and I got so excited but it wasn't u. So I got kinda upset at that person
ah damn, well, maybe next time mate :)
The rp upgrades for this plane is a pisstake
Only a fool would accept a non-favorable encounter.
agreed! :)
Your ennemy is running away to its airfield ? Well, do the same !
depends if its needed.
