  • Hendersonville, North Carolina is a charming little town in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Western North Carolina. The town calls itself the "City of Four Seasons." Weather and scenic beauty draw thousands of visitors each year but the town never loses its sense of community. Hendersonville is the apple capital of the state and the sight of the annual state Apple Festival held each Labor Day Weekend. There is much to see and do in and near this beautiful little mountain town.

      I am working on a Hendersonville retirement (13 years away). Are there any areas to avoid, property wise?

    • @JKKillerB
      @JKKillerB Год назад

      @@lemaitrethemonk It's changing so fast, it's hard to predict what it'll be like around here in (12) yrs. Population is growing fast & with that usually the crimes also. Developers are building 300+ home divisions every where it seems. I pray that Hendo doesn't become what Asheville has. I avoid going there for any reason. Good Luck

    It's not a bad town, lots of out of state retirees, drawn by climate, lower taxes, lower cost of living, especially compared to coming from the northeast states. Theres plenty of shopping for most things but seemed kind of, well, not busy. Not much to do there at night, no wild club scene, but pretty countryside, for sure. Depends what you are looking for.

    I heard about the Hendersonville Ripper. This sleepy city has some really dark history. The fire department used to have an arsonist child molester. He was killed by the parents of his kid victims on oak street. Now, he haunts the kids of those responsible for his murder in their dreams. And when he hurts you when you're asleep, it happens in real life. 1....2.....
