I wish I'd gone to Australia years ago. My parents were going to emigrate there in 1964 when I was 4 and my brother was 6. But my mum's father suddenly died, and she didn't want to leave her mum behind. Then in 1991, my boyfriend and I had all the necessary papers, and he had a job lined up. But then the job fell through. I'm now almost 65 and penniless and alone so there's no hope.
