Blimey Dan, bet u were pleased to get the happy hours in at those prices. First 2 beers were a great start. Classy at the end in the oversized hot tub. Couple of cracking bars as well. Brilliant Brilliant vid was that, well done👏👏👏🍺
Cheers Dave, the prices were the only negative. Just started early in the day 😂. UK rock music is on in most bars and plenty of local beer (not sure why Somersby Cider end up everywhere!). Will go back when I have thawed out in a few years! 🍻
Dan I think that is a first, half naked man reviews a beer from an outdoor lagoon 🤣🤣 i have to say that you had a fantastic selection of beers on offer, a bit pricey but happy hour helped out, great video and fantastic scenery, cheers Dan🍻🍻
Cheers Mr B, I took a waterproof case for some pictures and decided on impulse to show the beers. Won’t become a theme 😂 Fantastic place, could not quite work out the duty as light lager is similar price in the bars. I’m sure I’ll win all the money back at Cheltenham on Friday 😬
Brilliant video - great thumbnail of Rekjavick . We will be visiting there in November for three day break - Thanks for heads up - bars look great and cost of alcohol is less than I thought🎉🎉.
The happy hours in the early afternoon do help but it’s expensive to get drunk. Fantastic small city though and lucky enough to see the lights (although at minus 20 I thought I was going to die 😂) Lebowski my personal fave 🍻
Scandinavia is a stunning part of the world. I've not been to Iceland but I can confirm that the beer is no cheaper in Norway! Great video - many thanks🥶🍺
Good one. There are usually some pretty good deals for wee breaks in Iceland. I absolutely love it there although I'm running out of kidneys to sell to pay those prices 😀😀 (lol "Really brings the room together" nice one) 🤣🤣
Cheers Don - it is a beautiful but very expensive country agreed! Encouraging early drinking of strong beers in Happy Hour is an odd approach but it softened the blow. The Wee Heavy was excellent - be interested in your take on one. The dude abides 🍻
@@thehoppytraveller I've done a few wee heavies and I think my favourite was Glen Noble, 160/- Shilling Ale, a collab between Põhjala X Tempest Glen Noble 😋
@@paulprice1711 we took a bit of both but it was actually quite difficult to use the cash. Card was accepted everywhere and virtually no tipping so I’d take minimal cash. It’s a great city and the happy hours in the day time will save you a lot of money if you want to try a few beers. Lebowski my favourite bar 🎳 Have a great time 🍻 🇮🇸
Nice compilation. Well done. Thanks
Thanks Kurt, glad you liked it. Wish I could have stayed longer 🍻

It was good beer which helped, hopefully Norway the same. Need to save some pennies before heading North again 😂🍻

Love the appropriate background music 🎶 but tempted to thumbs down this video as you didn’t eat fermented shark? 🦈😂
Couldn’t bring myself to do it Mossy 😂, it’s pickled in its own urine 🤢.
